If you have any kind of "touch" with the dice, this wager is VERY beatable!

My local Indian joint put this bet in a couple months ago, and I have been knocking it dead ever since.

I've always been able to throw the dice for good chunks of time up there. I have the odd quick 7-out, and even a day here and there when I shit the bed. But, for the most part, I can hold the dice for several throws.

Being able to do that means I have cleared one end of the Tall/Small more times than I can count, and I have cleaned all the numbers around 15 times in 23 trips. At $5 a pop, it's pretty good coin! It has allowed me to gain a fairly nice bankroll, and play for larger stakes.

I took a decent beating on Sunday to the tune of $2,000 but I am still up almost $10,000 over that 60 day span of time.

I am going to Vegas over Memorial Day weekend, and I hope I can hit this wager some place where I can bet more than $5 on the bets. It's quite a rush to pop that last number for $1055! I can't imagine cracking it for over 5 grand!

I would like to see more of this type of bet as opposed to the Fire Bet option.

Never understood what these bets are, or the hop bets are?

Amatuer dice player here, although i was able to hit 4 points in a row with various seven and eleven rolls before the point was established scattered in there. turned $20 into $100 (Big amount to me, thats food for a month ahha  ) I usually only play $5 pass or dont and 1x odds until i get a larger bankroll, broke college kid here. Any other strategies some of you guys use? I never bet anything in the middle or make place bets.

Hop bets are a one roll prop bet. You're basically betting what the two dice will be on the next roll.

The All Tall/All Small is a bet that the shooter will roll each number 2 thru 6 or 8 thru 12 before rolling a seven. you can also bet the All, which means you are betting that the shooter will roll every number at least once before rolling a seven

Disagree. People can run hot on a 175 (or 176) for 1 bet and be good size winners. Beating an ~8% house edge bet longterm will require a decent amount of non-random rolling. Insinuating that this is "easy" is very misleading, imo. I'm glad you have done well on it so far and hope it keeps up for you.

Yeah, hopefully this eventually replaces the 20%+ Fire Bet in most places.

From this article, it looks like it's at least at Excalibur as of October last year. And you can bet at least $50 on it at the time of the article.

    http://vitalvegas.com/small-tall-nothing-at-all-new-to-us-craps-side-bets/

And the pic in the article shows a 176 for 1 payout instead of a 175 for 1 payout, which would make the house edge 7.46%, and not 7.99% like the article claimed (as they probably stole the number from the Wizard of Odds without adjusting it properly). Sounds like the Indian casino Rush plays at offers 176 for 1 too since he said he won $1055 on that last roll.

This thread mentions Wynn/Encore and Golden Nugget:

This thread asks about the bet at TI, but it's very dated, so who knows if it's there now:

    http://wizardofvegas.com/forum/gambling/craps/5841-treasure-island-craps-bet-all-small-all-tall-all-or-nothing-at-all/

Definitely sounds like Wynncore has had it for a long time.

I prefer the fire bet because it one bet per shooter. The A/T/S bet since it ends with seven if someone rolls a 7 on come out roll then the bet loses and has to be rebet so you might have to place the bet several times before you can even start working on the numbers.

I know this bet is at mlife casinos, a lot of Boyd casinos, golden nugget.

Congratulations. Most people lose on that bet. Being up $10,000 from $5 bets is amazing.

You have to understand, I have money on place bets, too. I am highly invested in my own rolls. Early on, I would win 2 grand on my roll, and piss it all away on other shooters while I waited for the dice to come back around! I decided I didn't need to bet the same way on some guy who was more than likely going to seven out in 5-6 rolls.

I am starting to learn "sets" to hit 4s and 10s, since those numbers will double up what you have on them. I have gone from a $25 buy up to $300 in no time on 4/10. That's when the money can start pouring in.

By and large, AT/AS is a bad investment. But, if you see someone who can hold the dice on a regular basis, why not make the wager? Up at Oneida, other than myself, there are two guys I will max out on. Other than that......I will let it go.

Yep... even controlling the dice well enough to roll a 7 once every 6.1 rolls on average is an advantage, regardless of how small it is.

You cant control the dice...its physics

Its a 6DOF system with soooo many variables, most of which are impossible to control to the precision required to result in a predicted outcome.

If you're doing AT with AS why not do All or nothing with it? I usually throw reds across all of them for shits and giggles

I assumed he was. The $1055 represents winning the All plus the All Tall or All Small, and the other Tall/Small was resolved earlier in the roll.

Someone has studied this (maybe the Wizard?) and concluded that it was possible to influence the dice enough to reduce the house edge slightly.

Though not everyone can achieve that result.

They are all in there. It's just easier to write AS/AT
