That was awesome. I'm sure there are some quotes left off, or some who would disagree with the order, but overall just tremendous.

Excellent! Thanks for posting that. I don't know if it's good or bad, but except for a couple of B&W movies, I've seen them all.

There were more from Casablanca than any other movie, I think...and by rights there probably should have been even more. "I'm shocked, shocked, to see that gambling is going on here!" In fact, many sayings/quotes/catch phrases which are clichéd today originated in that movie.

Also I think 3 from Gone With The Wind.

2 from the entire James Bond saga, and there probably could have been a few more..."My name is Pu$$y Galore" definitely belongs in there. Interesting, they can say the F word over 700 times in the Wolf of Wall Street--about 4 times a minute--but I don't think P.G. would fly as a character's name in a film today.

No, even more interesting is you can't buy an uncensored CD at WalMart, but you can buy all the foul language movies (with nudity) you want there.

That was great! Thanks for posting..

a few more from Casablanca that were left out:

"He's like any other man...only more so."
(can't believe they got away with that one)

"How extravagant you are, throwing away women like that. Someday they may be scarce."

"I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world. Someday you'll understand that."

...and this one from 'The Godfather'...
"It's not personal, Tom - it's strictly business."

Great fun. There were about ten that would not have made my list. But after all, "Love is never having to say you're..." sordid.

"As God is my witness, I'll never be hungry again!" has to be in the top ten, and it was missing. That film, "The Godfather," and "Casablanca" could make their own list, just those three.

Alec Guinness is missing. "What have I done?" and "Luke! Use the force." And nothing from Mel Brooks? Nothing from "The Sting"? Not a single John Wayne quote? And while Pussy Galore is a minority choice IMO, they might have included the Bond series' best riposte, from the same film: "Do you expect me to talk?"... "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!"

Ya there was 6 from Casablanca.

I looked at the full list and I've only seen 20 of them. I don't watch many movies, more of a TV guy.

    Heres the full list:
