I can't wait to hear how their casino is.

Hopefully someone will be able to give an accurate report on their blackjack conditions. It'll be interesting to see how it compares to the other lower class CET properties.

We are scheduled to stay in a room for the soft opening. Hope it works out for us. I would not look to expect any good pay schedules on BJ or VP. This is a Boutique Hotel. Non smoking rooms, but am told from checkin people, it is smoking casino with smoking bars. Yet to see. If anyone goes into the Cromwell, let the rest of us know what it is like. Pictures will help a lot. I guess that there are a lot of high rollers that will not mind non smoking with so so paying machines. One of us is a non smoker here, and I could have it the reverse.
Hope some of you check it out. Have fun and win a LOT!!

It's been confirmed by my guy at CET that Cromwell is a Total Rewards property. Just use your TR card like you would at any other Caesars prop.

It's a center-strip "boutique" CET property, freshly rehabilitated with equally fresh debt that needs to be repaid. It's a safe bet to expect 6/5 or 7/5 Jacks-or-better paytables, 8/5 Double bonus, and if they offer video blackjack at all don't even dream of seeing double down or split options.

Table games will be equally unforgiving with $10 minimums on weekdays, 6/5 payback on the blackjack tables, crappy odds on craps, no pai gow and plenty of "carnival" games (like Caribbean stud or 3 card poker) with lousy odds.

Basically, it's another beautiful grind joint for fleecing tourists who don't know (or care) that their gambling dollar can go farther if they get away from the strip.
