I know that MSS is one of the better downtown buffet offerings, just curious of anyone has experience with the champagne brunch in particular? It sounds like a great value at 10.99... Will these rates inflate for easter?

We did the Saturday MSS brunch a few years ago - the sparkling wine wasn't very good but it was free flowing and fine with oj to make a mimosa:peace:

It's very likely there will be inflated holiday prices for Easter.

Yes there will be a special Easter brunch & price. My guess, around $15-16, but still a value. As Hoya said, mixed with the OJ, the champagne is good.

Still not a bad price. I'm up for free flowing champagne even if it has to be juiced... Hopefully not a line out the door. Figured might be worth a shot since staying just over at the Plaza.

I've never been there for Easter, but some Fridays for the seafood buffet I have seen lines out the door and all the way back to the far end of the bar. We don't stand in it, we sit at the bar, play VP and go Holy Crap, look at the line.:evillaugh

Try and go off peak dining hours. The crowds will be smaller.

    Tried it.

    Liked it.

    Not gourmet, but good food!

The MSS brunch buffet is great value, although the 'champagne' is actually Californian White sparkling wine. Nice ambiance too!

This is a vegas tradition. We always stay downtown our first night which is always a Saturday and we go to mss champagne brunch on Sunday.
It is a great value still at 11 bucks. The champagne is pretty low rent stuff but it's comes to the table quickly and gets that early buzz going for the day
I've always thought the food was decent. Typical brunch offerings with a mix if breakfast and lunch items and a huge pastry/dessert bar. Enjoy it for 11 bucks for sure. Was there two weeks ago and loved it as always
