What area of the strip do you spend the most time or enjoy the most? I think the Go Rooms are nicer and the Flamingo location is better....especially now that the Linq is open.....

Haven't stayed in the others. Have stayed in a Go room...will again in July.

Go room is a great room, and with the LINQ the location is hard to beat!

The other posters have replied with good questions to ask yourself in what might be important to you. Out of the 3 options you gave, I prefer the Flamingo Go room and will be staying there in early July. People have mentioned the location of the Flamingo, and they are right (in my opinion). I also believe that the Flamingo is such an easy hotel to navigate from your room to the strip. I love being able to leave my room and be in the middle of the action quickly. The Trop obviously you will have to cross over the bridge to MGM and MC has a bit longer walk if I recall correctly.

Another vote for a GO Room!

Always enjoy it at the Flamingo.

Now this is just my opinion, but I vote for Mont Carlo. It's a pretty vanilla property, but it's really clean and nice. It's a little off center strip, but I like it way better than Flamingo, which I'vw found to be a bit trashy. (sorry, don't mean to offend some of you.) Flamingo has this low rent, Walmart feel to me. It's one of the few hotels I don't even walk through now. The only bad food I've had in Vegas has bewn at the Flamingo. But if location is of utmost importance, go for it.

I really liked Tropicana. They'be made a huge turnaround and the customer service I had there was phenominal. The casino is really clean, but never seems to get hopping. Nice, bland rooms a step below Monte Carlos. If I didn't have a car, the walk from there qould have startes to wear me down.

The best room for the money is probably Tropicana which is recently renovated with a South Beach theme. But there is usually an incredibly long walk to your room.

Monte Carlo has the better property. And it also connected directly to Bellagio by tram and Aria via their mall. The room at MC is blah but the pool is excellent with a pool, wave pool, lazy river, and volleyball court.

BUT Flamingo has best location and the GO Room is also pretty cute, functional and popular. It comes with a fridge and the pool at Flamingo is very popular.

I would choose FLAMINGO because I love that location and room.

I would pick Monte Carlo: its a much nicer property and has a good location on the south end of The Strip.

I've stayed in a Go Luxury With View room at Flamingo and:
    - The location is good if you like that end of The Strip. I prefer MLife properties so the location is only so-so for me
    - The bathroom is really really nice (though its frosted glass so it lights up the room like a big lightbulb at night)
    - The room comes with a mini fridge
    - Its Total Rewards so you can probably get the room for free easily enough

And that pretty much ends the positives...

    - The Flamingo has a grubby and worn casino with an aged selection of slots
    - The Go rooms are kind of ugly and despite being done up with a nice bathroom still show their age and feel worn down
    - The floors in the Go rooms and hallways are so rickety and creaky they feel/sound like they are a couple of hundred years old
    - ALL the common areas in the hotel (hallways, ice machine, elevators, etc) are all very decrepit and run down and show their age badly
    - If you get a room with a view you probably won't get to enjoy the view because there'll be that big wrap over the front of the building

In the end the room was the nicest part of The Flamingo, just everything otherwise is so old, so grubby, so dirty looking that the room doesn't make up for it and the place doesn't have that resort-like experience
