I'm planning a bachelorette party in the fall (Oct 24-26), and I've been hoping us girls won't spend too much getting into clubs, getting drinks, etc. Do we need to hire a limo/host service? Would we be better off on our own? Should we club-hop, or pick a spot and stay put to avoid lines?

We will be about 8 girls, in our late 20s, in designer clothes to look the part for VIP treatment.

Any wisdom or experience you have is greatly appreciated, especially as it pertains to saving money (or letting men pay :wink2:)!

Trust me you won't pay to get into clubs or for drinks. My girlfriends niece was there last year for a bahelorette party. I think there were 7-8 of them. mid 20's, they had a BLAST. Clubs will kill to have a group of attractive women. Whether you stay put or club hop is up to you. If you're having fun, stay, otherwise go. :)

I'd pick a main club each night for bottle service. www.jackcolton.com has good information on hosts you can contact that would be more than willing to help out with a bachelorette party.

There are lots of variables. One being its nearly 6 months away. If you are mostly good looking girls you will have a fairly easy time getting into clubs. Some clubs will give you free bottles or half price bottles.

Wife and I did our bach/bachelorette parties out there last July. Here's what they did for her party. Little lenghy but may give you options:

First off, personally the problem with club hopping is running around to different locations, maybe needing to cab or limo it multiple times, hopefully being on a guest list to get in quickly for free then running around in the club working the female bachelorette karma to possibly do it again at another location.

You did mention designer clothes which my assumption is then designer, expensive high heels. While running around club hopping??? You know better than I if that's a good choice.

Instead of that what the wife did with the girls for the whole night was dinner/dancing, at the Wynn. Multiple clubs rght there, VIP host and no hassles. Here's the link to the different packages:

    http://website.wynnadmin.com/imateq/...dfs/408229.pdf

They did the Society one with the Club Sampler that was complimentary. Maid of Honor did a party bus thing to pick them up, went to the Welcome to Vegas sign for a pic then to Wynn. Hostess met them at restaurant, sat them at dinner, brought them into each club with no line to wait on, ended up partying most of the night at XS with Cedric Gervais as the dj since Lil Jon was at Surender and it was a madhouse and they had a blast. Said that the food was great, they wanted to stay on the light and simple side and had a ton of leftovers that went to the trash. Didn't do any of the add ons as they are light casual drinkers and the goal was for her to complete her burn book while out that night and because of that there were offers for free drinks throughout the night.

Light Group has a ton of other options also, sorry wife got bombarded with ideas from maid of honor, here's that link:

    Hope this helps.

I'm trying to keep it fairly cheap for the girls since they're buying nice bridesmaid dresses and plane tickets for this party. Free/cheap bottles sound VERY appealing! And we're going for the upper tier clubs. We got enough of the frat-bro/hipster bars on Austin's Sixth Street.

And I didn't want to be too presumptuous, but yes, we're good looking girls. Not supermodels, but fit and petite, long hair, pretty faces, etc. Most of us are married/committed, but we'll bat our eyelashes and show some leg for a free drink!

VERY HELPFUL! Thank you! I love the Wynn package tip and suspect we'll probably end up doing that! Do any pros know if add-ons are negotiable? We don't need bottle service at Encore Beach Club, but knowing we could get in and party during the day would be really fun!

How much was the party bus? That sign photo op, followed by a night at the Wynn sounds like a perfect weekend! I like her style.

That late in October don't know if EBC or any of the pools will be open. Anthony was our POC last year.

Ok thank you! I just assumed that Vegas is such a hot climate, pool season would last into the fall.

pools are done by second week of october, at the latest. When hotels plan bachelor/bachelorette packages you primarily are stuck at the property. When i help arrange them usually friday night you party somewhere at the hotel or near the hotel where you stay. Then saturday get out in a limo, do a strip tour, hit fremont, take the ladies to a male review maybe lounge then club. Depending on if you are vegas rookies and most are passed out by 1, or afterhours.
the other big one is stopping at adult shop and getting the bachelorette party favors.

As they are saying, in October the pools will be open, but not the outrageous pool parties. Typically, the pools close down November through January for maintenance, repaint, or a complete remodel.

My recommendation, do it yourself. The internet makes it easy. The only host you will need is the club host that you will be partying at, and their job is to be your host, you do not pay them extra.

All they do is make sure you pay full price, meet you near the door(actually you have to find them because they are completely frazzled with everyone wanting them at this time), they probably put wrist bands on you, and then they escort you through the door and then hand you off to the next person who escorts you to your table/cabana/reserved area.

You will then have your cocktail waitress come around and take drink orders. Cocktail waitresses seem to be hit or miss, some are good, a lot are bad. The person that really does all the work is the busboy for your table.

I always did all of my own party planning. That way I was in complete control. But then, I go to Vegas a lot, and the first time was a learning experience(Palms Ghost Bar 2001 when the Ghost Bar was THE spot which I did not know), and each time after that I improved. By the time 2007 came around, I was an expert.
