    My Trip Report

Saturday 3/22 - Friday 3/28....This trip had 5 of us....me flying free on Delta and the others (hubby, daughter, s-I-law & solo poker friend on SW. I arrived 1st and waited for the others. Since we had too many for the CET limo, we just jumped a shuttle to Bally's. Arrived after just one stop to drop off people at PH. We had a new Jubilee room which was very nice. Especially loved the rainfall shower head in the huge shower. Great view of Eiffel Tower, Paris pool & more than half of fountain. Since there was several conventions, couldn't get the Jubilee suite till next day but liked our room and didn't feel like packing up & moving.
We dropped off our luggage & went to Burger Brasserie to eat. Food was great but the service sucked. The waitress was surly and inattentive & she hurt herself because we tip big for good service. 1st nite we tend to move around a lot so we hit Bally's, Paris, PH, Flamingo & ??. Hubby got a BIG windfall at Paris. He sat down at a machine (sorry can't remember the name but it was a new one we've not seen before) and started at 30 or 40 cents a spin. He noticed it was not deducting his bets but was adding any wins.... ?? What is going on ??? So, he increase his bets to $2 a spin & got it up to almost $600, got scared and cashed out. He watched the next person play & the machine was no longer acting crazy....very odd but a big win for him on the 1st nite!! Great start to the trip!!!

Next day daughter went to the TR desk at Paris to get a new card & they offered her free tickets to "Divorce Party" at Bally's for that night. Why not?? Free is good. Well, we all went to the small theater on the 2nd floor & were delighted we did....it was "a hoot". Only 5 actors....4 ladies & 1 man who played 5 different parts. These people are very talented....the show reminded me of a continuing Saturday Nite Live skit. It would not be for everyone (a few who must have been easily offended got up & walked out) but we found it hilarious! We laughed till our sides and faces hurt....lol. Hope more folks can take advantage of this....a nice break from the casino.

The weather was perfect for the 1st 3 days before the high winds blew in and cooled the temps down. We were able to get in some pool time and for us who have had a horrible winter it was so nice. Bally's Blu pool has some new signature drinks. One is the pineapple infused Pina Colada...
OMG is it good! Try it...it is a slice of heaven!!

Sunday or Monday nite...not sure which, our solo lady came & got me at a machine & said "you've got to see this"....huh?? She led me over to another section at Bally's to see a couple having sex at a machine! Yes......they.....were! OMG!!! They got interrupted but just moved to another section and continue on..... GEEZ.....just get a room for goodness sake!!!!

One evening we walked by Carnival Court to see 2 young girls with painted on bininis.....really? Just had a small patch covering the bottom-front of their bodies. They also had big security guards on each side of them. They were just standing there posing....not dancing or anything but they certainly drew a crowd.

Our last nite (Thursday) hubby...who is 67 and very ill was sitting at a machine - again at Paris....I think Paris will always be his favorite after this trip....lol....pretty young 20 something girl asked him the usual questions....are you alone / want to have some fun / etc. Now the hubby is Peter Pan with a crazy sense of humor so he decided to play with her a little. He said "honey if we do have some fun, we better have EMS in the room with us"... She asked him what EMS was!!! OMG....really? She finally moved on but it made my husbands day. lol

We visited only 2 Diamond Lounges this trip and they are really loosing their appeal. The food is terrible but the drinks are better than on the floor. Hubby & our solo lady played a couple of poker tournaments at the Quad that they enjoyed but didn't make the money. They liked the set up and it was only about $60 for the entry fee.

No fine dining this trip. Had a Diamond $100 dinner available but never got around to using it. We did do the Buffet of Buffets once along with HHAGG (had bogo coupon) / Planet Dailies / Sugar Factory / Earl of Sandwich and made it over to get my Lobster Chowder at the CP food court. Just love that stuff and am so glad they put it back on the menu.

I just reserved our room for our next trip.....a week including NYE. This will be another 1st for us. Should be an experience. Have fun everyone!!!

I suspect what was happening to your husband was that he had free play added on his card (or someone left free play on the machine) and it was adding the free play every spin. Alot of casinos Treasure Island being one forces you to add some of your own money first and then you can use your free play.

Either way, Awesome! Surprise free play! I'd like some of that. You gave me two new things to try on our summer trip. The PC at Bally's and the chowder at Caesar's, although they may not have it in the summer. Sounds like a great trip. Thanks for sharing. I still can't believe it about that crazy couple. Please!!!

I read another report where someone witnessed a couple having sex at a machine......wonder if it was the same incident or if it's a new thing lol. I had wondered about Divorce Party at Bally's, sounds like fun.

This was what I was thinking too but I'm not sure if CET's freeplay system is set up to work that way. Last time I got freeplay at CET, they gave me a voucher since cet is in the stone ages I know cosmo is how you describe though.

If this did happen this way, the rightful owner of the free play probably was real pissed later. :evillaugh

    Great report syb!

    Sounds like a fun trip!

Your story regarding your husband playing on the first night when he wasn't sure the slot was working properly; reminded me of a machine I played in Reno years ago. It was a $1.00 machine that kept on repeating and giving me more and more money. I sat there not knowing what to do. Finally it quit! Turned out it was the slot machine HAYWIRE and it would repeat the wins.
