New to the board and plan on a trip to Vegas in 2 weeks. Does anyone know if or when the Rio Zip line will be open?

Unknown at this point. They have all the permits done and everything, but nothing concrete has been announced.

Website still says "coming soon". Here are some FAQ's

What are your hours of operation?
12 Noon to 12 Midnight Monday through Thursday

10 AM to 12 Midnight Friday through Sunday

    What days are you open?
We are open 7days a week

How many can ride at a time?
The VooDoo Zip Line will send riders flying in tandem, so you may ride alone or with a friend

How tall do I have to be to ride?
Riders must be 48″ tall or 42″ tall when accompanied by an adult

Is there a weight limit to ride this ride?
Yes, 450 lbs combined between both riders

Where can my friends and family go to watch me ride?

The VooDoo Rooftop sports the very best view in the entire city. Your entourage can cheer you on and watch from the patio on the 51st floor as you fly through the air

    48" tall... to start.

My pal Jimmy Poon is considering doing one of those matchbook college law degrees, just to get in on the inevitable wrongful death lawsuits from this.

We just left there on the 25th. Was not open yet. I would not want to have a room with a view of people ziplining. From noon till 9 ( I think ) there is a $10.00 charge to go to the rooftop so I imagine people who want to watch would have to pay ? Not sure on that. You could watch from the pool area.

Loved staying at the Rio ! Had a Samba room and it was very nice.

Last week they were sending test dummies so they are getting close. Man that's high up lol. They wouldn't give me a date but they do have the ticket area set up (you can't buy tix yet of course) on the second level.

The price will be $27.49 from opening until 5:30 pm ($22.49 for re-rides) and $42.50 from 5:30 till close (35.50 for re-rides). The sign says it's an "introductory" price.
