We have tickets to KA. (7pm show) How early do we have to get there? I don't want to waste a bunch of time in line, but I don't want to look like an ass showing up too late since we are in the 4th row.

(Sorry if this is a dumb question. I've only been to 1 show and that was on my first trip to Vegas back in 2006.)

    Thanks!

We arrived about 40 minutes prior to the show. This worked out well for us and we still had time to grab a couple of drinks before showtime. Your times may, of course, vary depending on if the seating is at capacity.

40 mins is about perfect. We usually get there between 30 and 40 mins early. They won't open the doors much earlier anyways.

The larger shows all have sea assignmens and the tell you when the doors open so unless you need to pick up your tickets 40 minutes should be fine, I agree.

With tickets and drink in hand, 6:55 sounds right to me--what do you do for those 40 minutes?

I just went last week and showed up at 6:45, walked right in and the show started shortly after.

Even better! I don't even want to go to the dumb show, much less wait in line for it. I will split the difference and plan on a half hour before.

    Thanks for all the help!

I've been to plenty of shows in Vegas. And I'm someone who hates to be late for anything so I do show up a bit early. With that said, there's really no reason to show up earlier than 10 minutes before showtime (if you don't want to buy any concessions). I've never had an issue with lines at any of these shows. They get you in quick. Since you are in the 4th row, I'd start heading for my seats about 10 minutes before the show starts.
