I stumbled upon this because I was logging on to my account to check it out for the first time.

I was just out there. I wanted to gamble at Cosmo for the first time there so I went to Identity desk and asked about status match. She asked what I had, I showed her my TR Platinum and MLife Gold cards, she said "both of those match to Identity Gold." She said it was one-time courtesy deal, that I would have Gold status for a year. She said it was a good thing I did it that day (3/27) because matching was ending 3/31.

So I'm pretty stoked about two comp nights. Not sure what the companion nights means.

I'm firing off an email before I go to bed and hopefully will get a response sometime tomorrow and I'll update here. Also is there a way check tier progression? I spend the points as I earn them so I only know roughly what I should be at.

And any idea if thresholds have changed?

    Thanks for the heads up.

I wonder why they don't mention how many points are needed to reach each level?

And I'm ok with that. I enjoy the Cosmo and like what they have to offer and this is a step in the right direction. They still need to upgrade the capabilities of checking your Identity Status. At least with MLIFE and TR I know exactly where I stand. The Gold and Plat cards for Identity actually have benefits I'd use!

I messed up when i tier matched in January. I did not have my mlife platinum card with me, but did have my CET platinum, so gave them that. Not sure if the mlife platinum would have been an even match, but by using cet, i only got Gold.

This was several years ago, and when I went they gave me a Platinum Identity because of being M Life Platinum. Of course the year has long expired, and I got nothing from it. I guess I should have waited now that they have set benefits per tier. Oh well :)

I wonder if this is why I haven't seen any offers past May?

Gold was always 20k so I assume platinum is still 80k and the only change is the added 5k tier.

They tweeted me a response. It does not explicitly state 5,000 for Sterling on the website.

I also called them so I could sort some things out. Identity points stay valid so long as you return once in a 12 month period and the timer starts over. The timeframe that you have to earn credits towards your tier is on the anniversary of when you got rated. Like for me, I was status matched to Gold in July 2013. I have until July 2014 to earn 20,000 points in order to maintain gold.

OK, so since you get 2x slot multiplier all/anytime, it's really like getting 10K (=20K)

and if you're getting 3x after that with Gold and it takes 80K to the level after that, (you already have 20K) you need to really do another 20K (x3) to get to 80K

    Do I have that right?

So, with all the math, you really only have to earn 40K, and the math gets you to the 80K, right?

and isn't Cosmo like $2 per point earning?

Just came back from a trip last month. They matched my CET Diamond with Gold. Guess I will give them one more try with the two
Free nights. After gambling some, it shows 0 identity points on my account.

It's $1.50 coin-in on slots per point. Only Wheel of Fortune did I notice a warning saying no points. Ghostbusters let me rack up the multiplier. So now it looks like:

    Nothing: $1.50 per point
    Sterling: $0.75 per point
Gold and Plat: $0.50 per point.

But if you start at zero and hit 5k ($7500 coin in) you're now Sterling. The next 15k would be earned at 2x needing a coin-in of $7,500. Once you hit 20,000 points you need 60,000 more which is earned at 3x and translates to $15,000 coin-in.

So by my calcs, $30,000 coin-in = Plat?

Combined with spending of $1 = 5 points it seems almost too easy to make Gold and Plat.
