No not the players at 4 am - the slot game... Has anyone seen it at Aria or the other MGM properties in Vegas? If so do you remember where on the floor? Thanks!
They had it at Aria and Sunset Station during my last trip. it really does suck though. The regular spins don't pay squat and if you are lucky to get a bonus, guess what...you will get free spins. The last time I played it, I got the bonus, got 25 free spins, then hit the more free spins TWICE for a total of 75 free spins.............and got $69 from those free spins. Yeah, I sat there for a good 15 minutes watching 75 free spins and didnt even break even for the session. Plus, they have this stupid goo stuff that runs down a eel and gives you wilds...it only slows the game down further. Not that I am usually in a hurry, but when you are constantly watching "winner 40 cents" come up, you get a little tired and frustrated. Oh, and I was playing the max of $3 a pull too.
They have it at the Mandalay Bay. Took my $20 and gave me not much of anything. I think it is too tight because they know people will play it for the branding.
I think all these games are the same, meaning movie/TV themed slots. I.E. the new Willy Wonka, Wizrd of Oz, etc. The only thing that is going to payout is hitting a bonus with a large bet. Doesnt seem like any of the reg spins really pays off. Its bonus or bust. Que person who won hundreds without hitting a bonus...
I played it at the Monte Carlo two weeks ago. It is at the very front of the casino on the right side. I threw a twenty in and played for awhile but it was very boring. I ended up getting the bonus round and got a few Darryl's to line up and cashed out with my twenty back. I wouldn't play it again. I think I also saw it at Excalibur or NYNY. Mark
played this a few times at Maryland Live. It really reminds me of the Superman slot. Volatility seems very high, and normal play is boring without the bonus. I doubt I'll play it much, but its always a crowded attraction.
Thanks Y'all we will be at Monte Carlo to do the whiskey tasting so I will play it there. Ya the payouts on those branded games stink but some are really fun. I hit a hand pay on my 4th or 5th spin on Willie Wonka - no idea how that happened. I went through about $100 to try to get it to do the other bonus' - the one where the chair moves is kind of fun - but it was pretty cheap after the handpay. I love the show The Walking Dead so I hope it will be fun. But it sounds pretty unanimous that is is a dud. Thanks again for the locations!
Its at the Luxor too. When I was there in February, I played it near the escalators that went to Mandalay Bay.
