A New Day At A MLIFE PROPERTY

What time does a new day begin at a MLIFE property? IE. What time in the morning should I quit using my MLIFE card in slots on my checkout day so I don't mess up my THEO ??

 

It doesn't matter with Mlife. They use trip total, not daily average.

 

Ok, good to know. I'm a slot player only, so if I'm there for four nights is there any strategy I could employ to maximize or benefit my theo ??

 

I play tables only, so not sure of slot strategies. I think in the end, the only thing they will care about is total coin in over the length of your stay.

 

The day starts at 6am although as others have said they go by a total trip average.
For someone who takes a few trips a year to Las Vegas it should not matter.There are situations where it can effect you but mostly that will effect locals.

 

Do you know what constitutes a trip if I play at a MLIFE casino without having a room there? Obviously the minute my card goes in a slot or handed to a pit boss they know I'm there. But what if I ate at a restaurant and want to earn TC's for the money spent?

 

Good question and I do not know the answer.
I know at CZR it does constitute a trip.

 

Not sure if having a room or not having a room makes any difference.

 

Really glad that you asked this question, as I had the same one. Although, as I'm staying at M Life, it doesn't matter. I had it completely reversed, thinking that M Life was daily average and that CET was per trip.

The thing is that I'm splitting my stay b/t Cosmo and a MGM property. I may want to eat at an MGM Property before I ever check into the MGM owned property.

Last month when I was in LV I ate at Bellagio early in the week. Had a flight canceled and had to stay at Monte Carlo for one night unexpectedly. I didn't feel like my comps (resort fee waived) were unfair considering my play that night. Very small time blackjack for 3 hours and microscopic coin in on a slot as I doubled my money in about 10 minutes. So in this instance I don't feel like it hurt me.

 

Okay. This is a very stupid question but what does this mean in terms of calculating comps?

I'm exclusively a slots player. I play everything - penny, nickel, quarter, dollar, $5. Single line, multi line. I live in Los Angeles and come to Vegas 4-5 times a year for 1-2 nights per trip. I lose anywhere from $500-$4000 per trip. Average loss is probably $2000 per trip. (I'm a real sucker for slots!)

I don't chase comps, but am I hurting my comp offers by doing so many short trips? My usual corporate offer is 2-3 nights with $150 FP and $150 RC. Direct offers from Bellagio are only slightly better. I'm not likely to change my play or trip length because of work, but I just wanted to know.

I will check to confirm although it does not usually effect me on my 5 night trips..

 

A one or two night trip will not hurt you at all as long as your play for that day or days maintains your theo.
Most people coming in from SoCal have weekend stays.

 

100 percent positive on mgm they woudnt confirm any other property.

i guess at mgm i could effect your overall. as i has 43 minutes for one day , the last day . thats how i found out about the day change.played from 130 am till 3.43 am but they recorded 43 minutes for one day only.
