Hi! I grew up in Los Angeles but currently live in South Florida. I used to go to the casino with my ex boyfriend when he played poker, it was usually long, boring hours for me, so I would often wonder into the shops and main casino or just hang around the poker room.

I know how to play poker, but I don't like the amount of time it takes to play, I prefer something quicker. I always played slots when visiting casinos in Vegas or here in South Florida, but was never serious about it. Just before I broke up with my ex a few months ago I discovered Baccarat! I have been hooked ever since!

I currently play around three times a week, and have become interested in other table games like Pai Gow Poker and Three Card Poker as well, but Baccarat is definitely my favorite, I can't get enough of it!

After getting a proper introduction to Baccarat by a nice gentleman who even brought me along to watch (and play one hand) at the high limit room, I began playing $10-$15 tables. It's more exciting for me to play the $25 tables now, and I've got my eye on going to the high limit room for the $100 minimum tables. But I'm not quite ready for that yet.

Walking into a casino is like going into a different world and I really enjoy that. The games and the action are super exciting for me still (does it go away with time? I hope not).

I'm looking forward to speaking with like-minded people here and learning as much as I can learn from the more experienced.

    Thank you for having me.

    Anabelle

When I was really into the pits I was all about craps; another great game to learn. I'm strictly poker now.

No comps yet, though I've risked a nice amount of money. We'll see what'll come up. I'm not worried about it though, what matters is the game for me.

I would love to learn to play Craps. Unfortunately here in Florida we don't have any Craps tables (Illegal) so I'd have to wait when I'm in Vegas again or go to one of the cruises around here. Craps is definitely a game I'd want to learn to play, it just seem really intimidating to me right now.

Next time your in LV, find a low key table in the afternoon and the dealers will be more than willing to help you out. Beginners luck is the best luck at the craps table too.

When you play Baccarat in south florida is it "Minibacc" or whatever they call it? I mean played on a blackjack style table? And where you can't mangle the cards like you can in the high limit room?

I keep meaning to give Baccarat a try, but the minibacc they have in Las Vegas goes so fast compared to the full table version!

Yes! It is Mini Baccarat, though they do have the larger Baccarat tables at lower stakes as well at the casino I go to. To mangle the cards, you need to be in the High Limit room where the minimum is $100 a bet.
