I achieved the required tier credits for seven stars this year in early February, yet I am still listed as a Diamond on the Caesars website? Previously, it was generally assumed that it took 2-3 weeks for them to review your account, make sure it was in good standing, and then issue the Seven Stars status. Is this not the case anymore? I do not have any credit accounts with the Caesars.

I did read on a different forum that someone was told Seven Stars status doesn't apply until April 1, but it was not from a verified source.

    Any information is appreciated.

You need someone to "invite" you. It can be a host at any property. If you don't have one, go to a total rewards desk and ask for a manager to look up your account and do what is necessary to "invite" you. I got it done overnight after I contacted a host and he pushed it along.

Does this mean you made the 150,000 points from January 2014 till after your trip in February then you would become 7 stars but if your going from March to March you might not have made the 150,000.

If you got to 150,000 tier credits in a little over one month a host should be reaching out to you. If not, definitely ask for one next time you are at a CET casino. When I reached 7* for the first time last year, it showed my 7* status on the TR website a few days later. It took about 4-6 weeks after that before I was approved for some of the benefits (book trip, pick gift).

FYI- You are going to need a host to book the trips and the $500 dinner, you can't reserve them on your own.

Not trying to hijack, but I will most likely reach the 150k tier credits for 7 stars in my 4th trip this year (I avg about 40k tier credits per trip). If I wait until December to make that 150k, would that maximize my time as 7 stars (Dec 2014 - March 2016)?

You would gain 7* status as soon as you reach 150,000 tier points, whether you reach it today or December 31st. Then you would remain 7* through March 31, 2016. So really the sooner the better. I hit 7* in December, so it was a rush to book the trips. Once you reach 7* you should earn 3 trips. A level 3 Diamond trip, the 7* trip and you would be 7* in 2015, which should get another trip if CET keeps that benefit next year.

My husband's status wasn't confirmed very quickly. The next day he went the TR desk and they said it should be confirmed the following day. It wasn't.

A few weeks later when we were at a non-Vegas casino, they said he definitely qualified but it could only be done through his home casino which is Bally's. That was news to him but they turned the monitor around and showed him the breakdown for 2013.

In early February, they contacted him and told him he could select his gift for earning 7 Star. I was impressed how quickly they got it to Canada.

If you get 150,000 points this year, I believe you are 7* through March 31, 2016.

That is correct, I messed up the date in my previous post. Earn 7* now, or any time in 2014, and you will be a 7* through March 2016.

That's very helpful to know as I had the same question.

I have traditionally been a mid-level Diamond player and never aspired or thought I'd have the bankroll to be 7 stars but during a 10-day trip to Vegas in April I was on fire. I won a lot, including a dollar royal at Palace Station while waiting for the shuttle to bring me back to the strip. (After the royal I splurged on a cab. LOL). I played/churned a LOT, mostly on VP but a fair amount of slots as well. Gave back some winnings but also brought some back home. I had a few 5,000+ tier credit days and over the course of the 10 days earned about 100k TCs, including the bonuses. I had about 1k in spa, show and spa tickets comped off. I'm not chasing comps but I expect with a couple of day trips to AC I'll make 7 stars before my August vegas trip where I'll be celebrating a milestone birthday. I'm trying to figure out now what to ask for a host up front. I now have a host at Bally's and he seems very nice (another host that was on duty did the comping off) and that's where I stayed and played in April though I want to stay at Caesars for my birthday celebration.

    You did very very Well.
I would reach out to a Casesars host. They can review your play,
    and get you Over there.
Not sure if a Ballys host would?
But you definitely Deserve Caesars next trip!:nworthy:
    PS-glad to see ya here.

Thanks for the congrats CLV. Funny, the Bally's host emailed me a couple of days after my trip but I somehow missed the email. I discovered it a few days ago, emailed with him and then spoke with him that same evening. He's handling all of the details of my August trip, including my comped stays at Caesars. :blowkiss:
