Have you ever returned home from Vegas and discovered you still have a cashout ticket? I have a few, mostly for pennies, but I did return home to the UK with one for $48.60 from Palace Station about 6-7 years ago...Gutted :grrr:

I,m sure most are valid for 60 days, but I,m never back in Vegas within 60 days:cry:

You can mail it to the casino and they will send you payment via mail, if the ticket is still valid. I do that with future sports bets that I've won knowing I'll be back home by the time the event is played. I've mailed it in the past and had no problems with getting paid.

I have heard stories both ways about cashing them past the 60 day mark.

Actually, I believe they are good for 6 months. At least CET ones are.

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong…but I’m pretty sure sports bets and slot tickets are two different animals. I don’t think you can mail in a slot ticket like you can winning sports bet tickets.

I came home from a trip a couple of years ago with 2 slot titos worth a combined $1,200.

I called my host and he said it happens all the time. I priority mailed them to him, he brings them to the cage (I think), and then the accounting dept cuts a check and mails it.

Took a week and half, two weeks, something like that.

I imagine that's pretty standard procedure. Helps if you have a contact to send them to, otherwise, I'd call the cage and ask.

Tickets beyond expiration date, I have no idea.

I've never had any trouble in Las Vegas cashing TITOs which were a few months out of date. Last time at the LVH they didn't even bat an eye.

Caesars Palace paid a few months old football bet ticket, like which I make one of every 5 years or so. :)

However (comma) with local casinos (Council Bluffs - Omaha area) they are more strict. Ameristar needed the approval of the cage supervisor. Horseshoe had me sign a "dispute form" (they paid it) but a co-worker told me that they flat-out refused to cash one for him a few weeks ago.

    YMMV!

I have one from MSS for $16.48. It's about two years old now. I keep it as a souvenir and also to remind myself to cash them in before going home.

I actually have a couple pinned up on my kitchen pin-board, one from Wynn for 5c, and one from Caesars for 12c.

I guess the casinos must score $1000,s every year with people forgetting/losing them, all those 5 & 12c tickets sure add up.

Every TITO ticket I have seen says it expires in 30 days.

I wonder if CET dings your ADT if you just mail in your TITO or have someone else do it for you?

I have two in my Vegasy scrapbook that are each for a penny, "what a $100 bill buys at the Venetian" and What $100 buys at Bellagio". Worst was $10.25 from Palace Station. I just had to eat that one. I couldn't figure out an easy or cheap way to get back there to cash it.

I have a giant one for $0.65 from Caesars Palace I'm looking at right now that says it's void after 180 days. I'd upload it but apparently the pdf file is too big.

I don't think anybody "got it" regarding the date. That ticket was less than 2 hours before the Frontier closed for good.

Unless someone gave them your TR number, it would be hard to do. If someone else took it to Vegas for you, THEY would be the one turning it in anyways.

My sister went to a friend's funeral. People were chuckling as they passed the casket. When my sister's turn came to view... she had to chuckle too... the friend was holding 2 TITO's from Coushatta Casino in her hand. Her children said she had requested that they do this for her funeral... an unusual use of unused TITO's....

I'm certain that all your comps, ratings and ADT are calculated as you play the machine (or play the table game). It has nothing to do with when or where you cash out tickets or chips.

I'm just curious because your TITO can be tracked back to your card, if your card was in when it was printed. If you cash it out using the TITO machine it knows it came from you. Just wondering if you decide to cash out a different day than when you played if it dings you like you get dinged for any other time you use your card.
