For a $5.99 breakfast buffet with some options, you can't complain.

It's not the best-tasting food but it hits the spot. I especially like the pound cake dessert and strawberry cheesecake soft-serve.

For the budget-oriented, it saves quite a bit to dine off-strip. :peace:
Strip prices are not always in line with taste. :nono:

It's nice to see the same friendly people each visit, too!

Have to agree here.... I am of the belief breakfast should NOT cost 25$ or in that ball park( I don't give a damn what the bleep they are giving you.........its BREAKFAST!! Lunch and dinner ya can spend heavily if ya want). I have always liked the Orleans but the GC is on par with that one.

I always visit the Gold Coast for breakfast and then a day of bingo and slots...love the reasonable prices.

Last year I have to admit we dined at the Port O Call's breakfast twice and Southpoint's breakfast twice, so those four meals saved us tons of breakfast money which we applied towards dinners at Delmonicos and Noodles etc. As the previous poster said "it's breakfast"!!

Both the Gold Coast & the Orleans are pretty darn good for the money.

Also, we like most of the Station Casino properties, in particular Red Rock & Green Valley Ranch- many of which offer the 2 for 1 coupons in the LVA Book.

We used to love the M. In fact we still do, but the price keeps going higher, the lines are longer, and they don't offer the 2 for 1 coupons any more.

Unfortunately for us, we don't rent a car so it's not convenient to get to.

The shuttle leaves from Bally's now but I don't recall how early it starts. It not start early enough for ideal breakfast time.

Wonder if Candy Apple was speaking of Ports 'O Call or the M buffet?

Gold Coast buffet ain't fancy, but it's very good for the price if you're in the area.

The lines are usually tolerable too.

Yeah, I definitely like to think of it as just breakfast. You could do a lot worse for $5.99. Plus, their fruits and salads are always fresh and tasty. If you want a light meal with just a salad or so, it's an OK place. There is a free shuttle from Ballys to Gold Coast.

I'm not a fan of cheap buffets but the differences in breakfast buffets is much smaller than lunch or dinner.

We've had the GC lunch buffet & it was just what we expected...and tasted fresh / good. Not high-end dining but well worth the low price. Never been there early enough for breakfast....

I always say what a deal to see a comedy show at the GC and even Orleans buffets. The comedy show I am referring to are the locals who race and I mean running to the food even before they are even asked what they would like to drink. The best has to be last May when we watched 2 tables of locals fill plates beyond capacity and then go up within a matter of minutes for more food, where did the food go? They sure didn't eat it, no human (especially some 65 year old) could eat what they had on their plates:nono:. I asked our waitress if this is common? Her reply "every day except for the weekends". She said we know they are taking the food home but we are told not to say anything because the casino does not want to lose any business. Oh by the way most of these people dont leave tips.
We actually like the GC and Orleans buffets, are they Bellagio, Wynn or Cosmo NO but for the price they offer many items worth eating.

I'm rarely both awake and hungry during breakfest beyond once a trip, but when I am I prefer either the Gold Coast, Orleans or Red Rock buffets in terms of price, selection and quality.

I'm down to Bellagio in terms of lunch/dinner buffets (arrive 3:15PM weekdays for dinner at lunch pricing).

    Per the LVA
The complimentary shuttle runs a loop between the Orleans, Gold Coast, and Bally's. It runs from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 a.m. and picks up every 15-30 minutes. Seats are allocated on a first-come first-served basis, but with priority given to guests.
