I read on another forum that as of today all Venetian/Palazzo blackjack tables pay 6:5 instead of 3:2.

Can anyone corroborate this story? It makes a huge difference in my upcoming trip hotel choice.

Yeah, if he wants anyone playing over $25/hand this is not going to be EVERY table...

He's gotta pay for that website hack somehow. He's already turned the screws on the slots. Must be the blackjack players turn.

Eek that's scary if it's true.

That'd be the first 5 star property to decimate their blackjack like that...

Let's see...Encore and Cosmo are full of 6/5. There are very few S17 tables left at Wynn or CP. V/P was never a blackjack paradise nor have they really ever attracted their share of higher end action on that game.

Aria and Bellagio, IMO, are the only 5 star properties left which ARE known for good blackjack. No 6/5 in either place and S17 still quite prevalent.

Last week, a pit boss mentioned to me that they were going to start having 6:5 tables. There's no way they'll all be 6:5 though.

Yeah, I would expect it to be similar to what many other properties have done. Anything lower than $25 is 6:5. $100+ is probably always 3:2, and then pit's choice inbetween.

Nah, there are plenty of good low limit 3/2 games at Encore, Wynn, and Cosmo. A 6 or 8 deck low limit 3/2 shoe game is acceptable to me.

The original poster made it sound like ALL their low limit games will be 6/5. If that is true, it will be the first 5 star property to do that.

I believe 6:5 is at their 1 continuous shuffle machine table by Zine. The shoe games are still all 3:2 for now.

On what are you basing this post? 6:5 for all blackjack has been confirmed on other boards.

Yet another reason someone needs to drop a deuce straight into Adelson's mouth.

What do you consider low limit games?

I have read 6/5 on all SHOE games outside high limit. Double Deck and HL games supposedly still 3/2. But, I have not been able to absolutely confirm this with anyone who is actually there. I have not played at V/P for a few years, so I don't really care, but the continual deterioration of blackjack conditions on the strip is alarming. Aria and Bellagio are really the only holdouts at this point offering good to excellent games across the board. Big surprise, they have more high end blackjack action than anywhere else in town.

This is what I've read as well. Still a pretty big change - makes V/P one of the worst places in Vegas for BJ - but a far cry from all BJ.

Funny thing is just a year ago you posted BJ data for all the casinos and V/P had no 6:5 tables: https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91811

    How quickly things change...

If only high-limit and DD are 3:2 that probably puts Venetian down near casinos like The Quad and Casino Royale. Such nice bedfellows for a five-diamond hotel.

I was just in Vegas this weekend and can confirm that V/P had 6/5 BJ on all of its tables at $25 minimum and below. The tables have a bright red placard indicating blackjack pays 6:5.

I was there in the early evening, probably about 7:30 or 8:00 p.m. and unfortunately there were plenty of people playing $25 minimum 6/5 Blackjack. I did play some Let It Ride there, but I will no longer patronize V/P because of there BJ rules.
