Ahh Vegas...an overload of the senses. We may be touching the felt, seeing the sites, tasting alcohol and smelling the aroma of sweet goodness....but what do we love to hear? It could be a sound, a voice, a phrase. Sweet nothings. What are the things we hear that are like sweet songs to our ears, reminding us that we're in vegassss babbby!?

    "That's a nice hit"

And always enjoy hearing "Thank you" and "You're welcome".

I love to hear the music that plays when you hit a royal flush! I also enjoying hearing the attendants counting out the hundies they are placing in my hand.

some of the best music played are at Quad, Excalibur and Palms pool. I like getting a pool view room at quad to hear lively music wake me up and get me going. the party never stops.

It can be annoying but I still love the change-making sound that you hear when you take your tito out of the slot. I really feel like I am in an arcade and I am here to win!

I like it when the flight attendant announces that we will be arriving in las vegas in....

Winner, winner chicken dinner at the craps table is always lovely to hear. Or any call for the field because that is what I usually play.

Walking through a casino and hearing lots of bonuses as I pass by the slots makes me feel that I am in a winning casino.

The sound of bursting water as I walk by Bellagio at dusk is amazing.

As someone who almost died in 2011, hearing and seeing things in Vegas has brought a new meaning to my life. I have been going to Vegas since the late 70's, and many things i took for granted.......i can now appreciate how much they mean to me.
But some things have always been dear to my heart:

Red Rock Canyon...........the silence is deafening. The beauty is mesmerizing. My dad's ashes are scattered about in the Canyon to live on in eternity.

The Neon signs on the Strip before 1987. The Stardust and the Dunes in particular.

Spending an hour feeding the Ducks outside Mirage and hearing their thank you's.

The Fountains of Monte Carlo and Paris before they were torn down. I used to sit on the edge of the Fountain at Paris in early morning and listening to the water soothing me.

Driving on the highway from LA and just over the last hill outside of Vegas catching my first glimpse of that Oasis in the Desert. A lot has changed in 30 years. Before the Stratosphere , the Landmark was the first thing i saw on the 15 heading into the city.
I always let out a big loud scream..............i knew that Vegas was still about 20 miles away, but i also knew that once i saw it from afar, luck would follow me. Not in a monetary way, but something more than that which i still can't explain.

    "Comin' out! Same good shooter!"

"Color comin' in - 4 black out!"

That music that plays at the 'Let it Ride' table when somebody hits a full-house or better.

The machines dropping actual coins on the 2nd floor of 'theD'.

The jackpot music from the old 'Elvis Presley' slot machines.

I go for morning runs in Vegas, usually northbound from Bally's, usually around 7 am or so.

For some strange reason, I have fond memories of the recorded promotional blather they play outside Margaritaville and Casino Royale. I almost never actually visit either place during my trip, but hearing those ridiculous announcements about fun books, etc. while running is a reminder (not that I really needed one) that I'm on vacation in a very unusual place.

I also enjoy hearing the siren call of "Drinks? Cocktails?"

The sights and sounds of Vegas is addicting....

I also enjoy (strangely...lol!) the fake sounds of coins dropping when you take out your TITO.

The faint sounds of the slot machines paying out winnings and the occasional shouts of glee from the craps tables as the doors of the elevator open up to the casino ground floor.

The sound of the VP machine when you hit a 4OAK. I don't know what sound it makes when you hit a Royal Flush....

The best sound is when you hear a lovely voice behind your shoulder go "would you like a drink?" :drunk:

    "37...38...39...Four thousand!"

    "Purple out!"

"Do you mind if my friend joins us?" (Yeah, who am I kidding...it takes everything I've got to disappoint ONE woman!) :rolleyes2:

Just love hearing the noise of the machines and the shouting when somebody hits it big, I have a VP game on my phone and it has the background noise of a casino.

    -"Cocktails, Cocktails... Cocktails...."

-The guitar sound of the blazing 7's penny machine and the "hot shot!" voice as well

-shouting and cheering at a craps table
