Staying at Bally's and looking for places that offer cheap drink specials. Also what casinos are the best for comp drinks and what kind of tips do you have to make your money and time last longer for drinks while gambling?

Most places offer the same comp drinks to the high table players and the penny grinders. Tip your server and the drinks will keep coming. Tip a couple bucks the first time and them a buck each round after.

As far as cheap drinks to buy on your own. I would say Stage Door on flamingo just behind what used to be bills gambling hall. Lots of 1-2-3 dollar specials, beers for $1 and $2 bucks. Also Casino Royal has cheap drink specials.

I don't know of many other cheap drink options on the strip. If you visit downtown you'll be in cheap drink heaven lol.

I think the question is about cheap drinks outside of the casino, which can be difficult to find. There are a ton of little bars on or around the strip, none with names i can recall off the top of my head. But the ones that are not large restaurants or bars seem to have decent drink deals. Sorry i couldn't be more specific.

    Still some cheap drinks around.

Stage door is a dive bar classic with cheap food and drinks and VP at the bar.
Casino Royale still has buck beer and cheap mixed drinks
I believe Ballys had 2 buck tacos and drinks
Stratosphere has 3 buck Yeager shots all the time
Some places ( just ask the bar tender) has specials where you pay 20 bucks for endless drinks for beer and lower end spirits:beer:
And of course free drinks are free and strong setting at the bars playing VP. Just tip your bar tender no less than a buck a drink.

Walk a half block directly behind Bally's to the legendary Ellis Island. It gets no cheaper or better than their house made micro brewery beer.

Use it to wash down the best steak special in town for $7.99.

I mean if I want to be really cheap...which is "always" I will grab $2 24oz Bud Lights at the ABC Store located throughout the Strip.

Not sure if you have a Smartphone but there is an app I use daily called Foursquare. Foursquare is a web and mobile application that allows registered users to post their location at a venue ("check-in") and connect with friends. Check-in requires active user selection and points are awarded at check-in.

Anyways, most if not all casinos on the Strip offer a FourSquare Deal. Places like Ballys have 2 for 1 drinks at any casino bar. places like Paris have $5 off your buffet.

Riviera is running a 3-2-1 deal at their casino bar - $1 drafts, $2 well drinks, $3 call drinks.

    Beat that!

You guys are awesome, a plethora of information.

Any ideas for March Madness unlimited open bar & reserved seating? It seems like all the better ones are already booked, hoping some other venues add some options.

Riviera by far has the cheapest drinks I found on my trip last September. 3 dollar calls 2 dollar wells and 1 dollar drafts. It was a lifesaver for us last trip.

Sit down at the bar in the casino and put 20 bucks into the video poker terminal and the drinks are free. Play as slow as you like and for the least amount per hand.

Don't forget to tip the bartender.

Most bars on the strip charge absurd prices for drinks. I've witnessed people pay $18 for 2 well drinks. Walk up, put $10 in the VP, play max bet and get the drink for free. Worst case you lose the $10 or you may win a little and get a free drink in the process. Just don't forget to tip your bartender.

I'll never forget when I got to Vegas with a buddy of mine, it was his first time. We were walking through Excalibur and we just wanted a drink to get us started... Went to the casino bar, I asked how much it would be for 2 jag bombs (shot of jagermeister and a splash of red bull). That's $18. Ha! Ended up with bud lights from the C store to start us off... Head to casino royale for the best drinks for value IMO. $1 michelobs, CHEAP shots and mixed drinks and a fun atmosphere. Grab a couple for the road.
