I'm looking for some mid to higher end seafood suggestions. I am allergic to shellfish so my wife rarely gets seafood at home. I can find a fish or steak option at most places I am sure.

We tried Sea Blue in MGM last time but I understand that is something different now.

Normally we don't do buffets but for a nice lobster/crab leg offering she might be talked into it.

Anywhere on the strip is fine with us.

    Thanks!

Joe's Seafood, Prime Steaks & Stone Crab. The crab is delicious, but their fish and other seafood is well done too. Even the steaks are good.

Thank you for the suggestion. We tried that about 4-5 years ago. We must have been there on a bad night. I only hear good things about that place.

Something similar would be perfect. Emeril's maybe?

I would also recommend Joe's - we eat their each trip and just LOVE IT!!

however, I can also recommend Emeril's...we ate there last time and we had the Chef's tasting menu, and it was DELICIOUS!!

In our party of 4, only 3 got the chefs tasting menu b/c he was allergic to seafood and they brought out his steak mid-menu and he raved about it!

Another vote for Joe's. If you had a bad experience that is very much the exception. We start every trip there. Last trip we went twice. Also, it is a great steakhouse (my first time at Joe's I still call the best overall restaurant experience of my life).

Want something really different? How about Bar Masa in Aria?

Thank you for the suggestions. Keep them coming!

We won't be going back to Joe's after last time.

    :nono:

I am glad that everyone else likes it though. More for you!

If you want something kinda of like Sea Blue in MGM, try American Fish in Aria. It's another Michael Mina joint with a similar type of menu. I highly recommend the black cod dish!

Another vote for American Fish as your best option.

I second this with a caveat. It can get REALLY loud in there.

    Hugo's and Andiamos Downtown

Try Hugo's ... at 4 Queens...and Andiamo's Steakhouse... at The D... both are famous for superior food and a wonderful dining experience. They are well deserved of their reputation ... your wife will love their seafood selections and you cannot beat the selection you would order.
    ---
Both places have their menus online and your mouth will water just reading their menus. Believe me, the short trip downtown will be worth it... and prices for a quality meal at an upscale restaurant are much better downtown.
    ---
Wish I was there right now!!

I found Buzios to be "ok". We had a Groupon so that helped but there are better options for seafood.

ETA, any suggestions for lobster would be appreciated. Just good old broiled lobster and drawn butter. Love it :)

Lakeside @ Wynn. The atmosphere and ambiance are second to none.
