Have to stop in the Bellagio and have never been..Wondering if a cab back and forth is worth the faster time spent as opposed to taking the Rio shuttle to the strip and walking..Is it a super long walk that I really have no interest in?
    Thanks for any insight!!

Be less than $10. I would guess only around $7, maybe $9 with traffic. OF course it is Las Vegas, make sure they dont get on the highway and take you down around Mandalay Bay and then back up the strip.

I think $7-$8, especially if you use the North port cochere.

I waited for the shuttle once at Bally's and there was a bunch of people waiting for it as well. Wasn't sure how big the shuttle was and if we'd even all fit. Decided just to cab it and like others said think it was under $15, so would be even cheaper from Bellagio.

Walking: I could be wrong but I think I read that walk is dangerous. Some spots don't have sidewalks and you are walking along very busy/fast streets, but I could be wrong.

I walked it a couple of times years ago, and it scared me. ( cars, not people ).

Then I read an account of a man who was robbed while walking that route.

Then I never walked it again.

It isn't the nicest walk, but it's not very long and very doable if you're not dressed up. Cab maybe $7 on the meter. Rio shuttle would be my last choice.

We were around $10 from the Cosmo to Palms if that helps at all.

Take the shuttle to Bally's and walk across the street.

Between the wait for the next shuttle, and the walk, it could be an extended trip. Free - yes.

Cab is best bet. If weather is nice and daytime, the walk would not be bad. We have done it both ways.

Yes, it can be walked, but by much heartier souls than me (I have COPD). However, it is a dangerous walk with cars zipping off of and on to the I 15.

If you have time to kill, take the shuttle. If not take the taxi.

Your life is worth a helluva lot more than a $10-$12 taxi ride.
