Do hosts count play at other CET properties??

So, I am trying to figure out where my husband and I will stay for our next Vegas trip. We are new to CET and want to check it out some more.

So, what happens if we stay at Caesars and play at PH? Are back-end comps hotel/casino specific or based on all CET play? Not playing for comps here, but I do want to have an expectation of how this works and maximize our value. We usually get all our food and room comped on the back-end, but we also usually play where we stay. (MGM Grand Executive King)

We liked the casinos at PH and Paris, but the rooms at Paris are dated and the TV was a joke. Loved the vibe at PH, but not sure I like the PH rooms available to us--they all seemed small.

We walked around Caesars and enjoyed the large spaces. We could go with an Augustus Luxury King--(pre-comped) and it seems like a great room--Except... I am not sure we will dig the Casino and have not played there before.

 

that's a good question and I am wondering if mgm properties do the same. Say you stay at aria and play 6 hours at $300 avg and play at Bellagio for 4 hours at $500 avg for a total of 10.

 

CET says they count all LV properties as "one big resort." That said, at check out time you will need to prompt the host to look at your play at other properties since they don't necessarily do so on their own.

MGM is a little dicier--technically they are looking at play across all properties but it seems as though the hosts get compensated for play at THEIR property so if you are looking for back end discretionary comps, they may look more favorably on play at the home property. I've heard different stories from different hosts, ranging from "it doesn't matter where you play" to "we only look at your play here" but I think the reality of it at MGM is what I posted above.

Most of your comps are combined property but they also will give you comps just from the casino that you gave play to. I get alot of Comps just from Caesars because of my play there. So to a point play where you want to stay.

 

Remember that CET tends to use reward credits FIRST for comps. So, at that point, they use all casinos, even one you played last month in Tunica (for example). Then, they MIGHT do some additional comps.

 

CET does go with all properties. And don't give up on Paris rooms, or Bally's for that matter. All Bally's rooms are redone and very nice, as are Paris red rooms, with great views of the Eiffel Tower and Bellagio Fountains. I love Paris and Ballys casinos and stay almost exclusively at Paris for the past ten years.

 

It depends at CET. If a host (executive host not CM or CSE) at that property extends you an invitation then your play at that property plays into their quota / goals.

CET also has company targets that hosts are expected to help meet since it plays into their compensation package. So cross property play may influence what they are allowed to give you, it may not earn you extra favors.

I will say though CET is shifting a lot of players down the ladder to sub-host type people now in Casino Marketing and Casino Sales staff. You may deal with a host on property, but at least in the LV markets for CET these people are servicing much larger players now.

 

cet you can basicaly play where you want as long as you play.

mlife it does matter. pick a place you like and concentrate your play there you will get corprate and host offers thats how you do mlife.it does kinda suxs.
even though mlife can see your play at all there properties the host realy doesnt get credit unless your at his place .to get the most stick to one property if your play isnt high enough it doesnt really matter then.

i have a aria host, just gambled mgm a recivied a email offering me anything i want from a host at mgm as i payed there a few days ago.
