I have never found any in canada other than coffee cups but i don't have the greatest stores where i live.

Would CVS or Walgreens have something like Solo cups with lids? It looks like target has something for kids but i don't want to take a taxi to go shopping. I like my mixed drinks but for walking i would prefer a lid. I have ones that are not disposable but i want disposable if possible.

Sorry for the dumb question, i know nothing about those stores.

We have a ton of both Walgreens and CVS around me and I have never noticed Solo cups that also have lids. I could be wrong, but unfortunately the coffee cup idea might be the ticket for you.

Disposable ones? Maybe but you can't count on it. That's something I would expect to find at a warehouse club maybe. They will have water bottles and stuff like that and very possibly disposable coffee cups with lids but I doubt they will have Solo cups with lids.

    Walmart

Only place I can think of is Sams Club I think they would sell them but the quantities would be very large and not practical. Best bet would be In n Out or another fast food and buy a soda then save the cup. Some sell a plastic version in the larger sizes.

We bought a pack of 12 at Walmart last year. They even had the cardboard slip on holders.

Non-disposable (like Tervis) is easy but I've never seen disposable plastic cups with lids. Paper coffee cups - yes.

The Walgreens between the Venetian and Harrah's on the strip has these awesome large beverage cups with lids and straws. They even have the "coozie" type sleeve on them to keep your hands from getting too cold from all that ice!

If you buy an iced chai tea from Starbucks it comes in a 16oz plastic cup with a lid and straw. I'm sure the would sell you just the cup and lid .

I wouldn't spend $5 at starbucks. I drink no coffee and my awesome hot chocolates in canada are less than $2 at timmies lol.

I thought of fast food places but the cups are usually super cheap and won't last very long.

I figured it was a long shot but thought i would ask.

As for the poster who said they found something like that at walgreens, that would be awesome.

I do have the reusable ones with a lid & straw but i wanna drop it after in the garbage, not keep it.

Last month in Vegas I packed a plastic fast food drink cup(Carl's JR to be exact) with the lid and the extra long straw to fit it perfectly. My last night in Vegas was time to try it out. Filled it with ice in my room, then half Crown Royal and the other half was Coke.
It lasted all evening and it was a good quality to refill many more times, but this was my last night so it was thrown away when empty.

I have more of them at home and always take one or 2 with lids just for this purpose.

If you see a guy at the Downtown pub crawl drinking Crown and Cokes out of a Carl's Jr fast food cup.............then you'll know it's me!

I always mixed my booze in water bottles.
But once I found out casinos gave free booze, I never brought any with me.

I know you said you don't drink coffee or anything, but the Starbuck's cup would be ideal. I charge Cool Lime refreshers to the room and then get tequila from the CW to add ;) YUM! A friend of mine always goes and gets water from Starbuck's (they charged her 20c or something for the cup) and has them refill it for her when needed, much cheaper than ordering a bottle and tipping or buying bottled water; plus, their water is filtered so it doesn't taste like tap water. The plastic cup is clear comes with a straw and will last a day if you don't sit on it ;) It's worth a try if you are looking for a relatively cheap disposable cup.

I like my canadian booze. Your guys coolers are just garbage down there compared to ours. Yours are all malt based (so they can be sold anywhere) and ours are all liquor based (rum, vodka etc). I drink whiskey most of the time but when we get there we are not playing so i want to be able to have a few bevvies in our downtime or when walking around so i am bringing a few 1 litre coolers that i mix with 7 up.

Those cups would be perfect but amazon shipping to canada is outrageous.

Smo where is carl jrs? i have never even heard of the chain. Wendy's has plastic cups here in canada but they are crappy and huge.

7-11 big gulp cups might work if they are the same kind down there as in canada (i know the slurpees most certainly aren't, i was shocked at how different they are, i prefer ours lol)

Carl's Jr is a chain here in the Western US. They are called Hardy's as you go East.
Any fast food plastic drink cup should work. McDonald's and Jack-In-The-Box have some decent cups as well.

Temps will be near 80°F (27°C) for early to mid April, so that big Wendy's cup may come in handy after all!

I am going to love on that heat. It will be -48C tonight!!!

Thanks, mcdonald's cups are too cheap i find. They end up leaking after an hour or so.

I like a lot of ice so a bigger cup might do in that regard.............lol.
