OK, we all have them. What movies/shows are you kind of embarrassed to admit you like. Here are a few of mine.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - Peter Frampton and the Bee Gees. It brings back warm fuzzy memories of when I was 15.

Duel - really stupid movie with Dennis Weaver about some poor guy traveling in his car for business, who picks up a truck "stalker". I watch it every time it's on.

Armageddon - I have a kind of a sick love of disaster type movies - this is my favorite.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch - yes, I have the first 2 seasons on DVD. What can I say, I like the talking cat. Sometimes I just need to watch some fluff.

Gilligan's Island - I love it, I just love it - and have it on DVD. Favorite episode is where they find the radioactive vegetable seeds.

    The Notebook.

My wife and my daughter forced me to watch it with them so that we could spend "quality time" together. Really enjoyed it.

Please don't tell my beer drinking buddies!

    The Internship

Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are laid-off salesmen who get Google internships. Its supposedly a comedy, but I think the dramatic/non-funny scenes are better than many of the comedic scenes.

It doesn't have a high rating on imdb, critics hated it, and people have been saying its a Google commercial. Whatever, I liked it.

Not really embarrassed but definitely not the best movie ever - The Burbs with Tom Hanks, Bruce Dern and a whole lot of other funny guys from 1989. I have to admit I know every line to that movie. "Red sky at night, neighbor take flight!"

That is one of the BEST movies ever. It's funny because I have it on VHS and I was just telling my BF that I really need to get it on DVD.

We've seen all the Sabrina episodes. Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Charmed. I wouldn't move in with my husband (then fiance) until he got his satellite issues worked out so we could watch Buffy:ssst: We're adults without children who watch Jessie, watched Suite Life of Zach & Cody/On Deck, as well as Wizards of Waverly Place, and my husband will buy dvds for any Pixar movie.

A couple of my favorite movies I will watch whenever they're on tv or I'm having a crappy afternoon - Shag (I need to get this on DVD because I have it on VHS and we're down to one VCR), The Cutting Edge. I knew my college roommates like these movies (because we all watched them together) but I recently posted a line from Cutting Edge on FB and was surprised at how many people got it instantly.

When you have a daughter you can get caught watching some embarrassing shows with her, and sometimes you end up liking them but wont admit it. "New Girl" is one off the top of my head. In movies I can't pass up watching "Legally Blonde".

:ssst: Just don't tell my sons.

I love this! And am sad because I cannot remember a single "embarrassing" show my dad watched with me. I remember a lot of side-by-side reading and him watching war movies or Lawrence of Arabia while explaining history to me.

Why yes, I can whistle the tune from Bridge of the River Kwai:thumbsup:

You're a fine daughter to have watched that stuff with him. My daughter wouldn't, although we do share a lot of common ground on comedies mostly. She's 26 and we still watch alot of TV together.

Yes, Angel as well, though since there weren't any hot blonds in it, my husband never enjoyed it quite as much as I did:wink2:

Is it bad that one time Hubby and I were in Vegas we actually waited to leave the room because we were watching an episode of "iCarly" - and yes, I cried during the last episode....

To prove my immaturity - my all time favorites are The Three Stooges (I'm a Curley girl at heart but not a Shemp hater). I also love everything Bullwinkle and Friends. I refuse to watch any remakes, on the originals will do.

I don't have nor do I want a tattoo but am facinated by all the tattoo shows on TV, the competitions and the bad tattoo shows.

Most people I know don't share my love of dark humor such a Death at a Funeral (the original British version.)

    Some good ones mentioned.

I love Bridge On The River Kwai. I've seen Platoon, GoodFellas and Donnie Brasco about 20 times! I must have seen The Dirty Dozen 50 times!

But I have to admit, I'm crazy about A League Of Their Own. I blubber like a baby at the end when all of the old ladies are playing baseball and thinking these were once the young, sexy babes who played REAL baseball!

I was addicted to Buffy The Vampire Slayer because I was deeply in love with Sarah Michelle Geller.

Come on, guys my age, you know you had a crush on Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island.

I usually go to Las Vegas in the summer, after dinner I go straight back to the room for Big Brother before gambling starts.

    Fun topic, Josie!

The Burbs/Money Pit is a double feature classic.

TV Show: Hands down my all time favorite was The O.C. Not at all ashamed to admit it. The first season is some of the best TV you'll ever watch.

I used to watch Real Housewives of NJ sometimes. Even my girlfriend made fun of me for that shit. But I grew up in north Jersey and just loved watching the train wreck those kinds of people spiraled towards for the schadenfreude value.
