Ask host to comp another CET property, that OK?

Just curious if it was wrong of me to contact my Host at Caesars asking for COMP at PHo for my next trip?

I sent her an email with 2 possible dates, she responded within 30 mins and said that dates "A" work better as you have more comps available and she can book me into a Panorama Suite and a choice of $500 Casino Play or $500 Nordstrom Gift Card or 2 Tickets to the Jacksons or 2 Tickets to Meat Loaf.

She asked smoking or non and estimated arrival time!

I had to obviously chat wife the wife to hammer out the dates, and it turns out that Dates B, work waaaaaayyyyyyy better for us!

I emailed her back stating that and asked if she could offer us the same deal, just on my preferred dates.

That was a day ago, and I have not gotten a response back. Is it a case of, she was willing to give my 10 mins of her time to book, but now that she has to "work it a bit/multiple emails etc" and that it is for another property, she is not interested anymore?

I don't want to bother her, but the offer is much better than what I'm seeing on the "Offers" page of the total Rewards website!

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

My CET host has helped me with other properties, in and out of LV.
CET works on a "Primary host" system, unlike MLife that works on an individual host for each property

Do you know what days your host has off? I know mine is always off on Mon/Tues, so I know when I can expect a response.
At the same time, it can take a day for a host to respond if busy, or the host may be looking into getting you the correct response (Yes I can) before responding.

Yes, my Caesars contact has her days off in the signature block of her email.

She is off on Thursday and Friday!

I'm not sure who my "Primary Host" is, should I just stop by a TR desk and ask the next time I'm there?

Chances are, the host you emailed is your primary host, though one could be poaching you from another.

Might want to drop what I call an "ignorance email" just asking if they got your last email

"Hi, I was curious if you got my last email? I know how sometimes emails get lost or eaten by the spam monster. So, by chance did you happen to receive the email regarding our choice of option A? Thank you."

Once you establish contact again, confirm with that host if they are listed as your primary host, so you "know to always come to them for any and all of your CET play and needs"

All too familiar with the "ignorance email", I use that almost on a daily basis, lol!

Good suggestion about confirming that she is my primary host, although I have a feeling that she is just my Caesars contact as I think my primary host is at Flamingo (but not sure)!

    Cheers...

If the host at Flamingo is one you use most, that may be your primary host.

Once you establish who is your primary, use that person for all CET properties, even if Tunica, Biloxi, Windsor, wherever.

They all interact with each other and all do the "I'll take care of yours and you take care of mine" thing going, but the primary host gets credit for your play, no matter where you're staying

We have a host that happens to be based on P-Ho. She has booked us in many different Vegas CET hotels, but never PHo.

I have the exact opposite situation to the OP, I have a host based at PH, and asked on our last trip to stay at Caesars.
For our upcoming trip, when I asked her to book, she first asked me which property we wanted, but we were ok with PH.

It could be that because your dates are different from the offer dates that she is trying to work it out before contacting you again and that can take a few days. I know the $500 freeplay or Nordstrom card is an actual offer. I recently received the offer for Elton John but it was for 5 free nights starting April 22 with the concert on either the 18th or 19th. We can't make it on those exact dates but wanted to go from the 19th to the 24th and see Elton on the 19th. I emailed my host and he got it done but it took way longer than it usually does.

I think they put the request in with someone else and have to wait to hear back from them first. He finally emailed me with all my confirmation numbers but I was starting to get worried too! Hope it works out for you!

Hey we got the same offer but for April 17th - 22nd with the show either on the 18th of 19th. We are planning to stay at Caesars and see the show on the 18th. My host is at Rio and arranges our hotels and reviews our comps any CET properties in Vegas. He recently contacted and referred me to a host in Laughlin for a trip there. Seems he only covers Vegas.

Peachie hit the nail on the head. They put in a request with the powers that be. I've had dates or properties changed from my original offers this way many times. It takes longer, but never more than 3-4 days. Good luck to ya!
