Hi Board, We are a group of 6 guys flying in on the 4th July for 7 nights, we are quite happy staying at the Excalibur as it meets all our needs,ie: beds,I did e mail the Excalibur about our stay and they kindly told us to book basic rooms and they would upgrade us free of charge on receiving confirmation bookings, so my question is, cheapest rooms currently at $347,do you think the price will drop any further the nearer to July we get .
    Regards

You need to put that $347 in to context: is that the cost of one room for 7 nights? The cost of all the rooms you need for 7 nights? How many rooms do you need? Is that including the daily resort fee? Including tax?

$347 is the cheapest I could find for those dates.

The only problem you have is that July 4 ($107) and 5 ($94) are weekend nights of a huge holiday weekend in the US.

The base rate for the rest of your nights is only $29, and I don't think you'll find a rate lower than that.

July 4 and 5 might come down, but not by much, and I wouldn't hold my breath.

If you book now and happen to spy lower rates, you can call and they'll adjust them for you, or you can cancel and re-book.

Thanks Chuck,i think it's a good price at the moment for what we require, which basically is a decent nights sleep after a long day by the pool touring bars and playing the casino's,sleep has been allocated less hr's than other activities,I've seen the price drop from $470 to $347 in the last few weeks so i'm thinking this is near to the bottom price we'll get.

Thank you all for your input.

    That's the spirit!

"...sleep has been allocated less hr's than other activities ..."

That's the spirit! To each their own but kills me when I hear people commenting about the quality (or lack thereof) of the TV in the room. My attitude is if I am in Las Vegas, the damn TV should never even be on except to check out!

Course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

I'm showing $327 through MLife with the "Exclusive Tier Discount" not using any of my offers with comp nights. I'm still at Sapphire until my next trip, 6313 tier credits from Pearl.
