Hi everyone! This is my first post to this board so I apologize if this is a bit long. I have been playing along at home for a while now and figured I would try to get some guidance from the group on my upcoming trip.

This is a solo trip for 4 days 3/31 to 4/4. I am 34/m and have been to Vegas 2-3 year since I was 21 so I am fairly well versed on the hotels however, this time I am having a heck of a time deciding where to stay. For me a fun casino vibe, space to kick back, jetted tub, fun pool, and good food are important factors.

Right now I have a Corner City View Suite at Aria reserved, a Terrace Studio fountain view at Cosmo reserved, and a One Bedroom tower suite at Mirage reserved. The suites at Aria & Mirage are about the same cost and the Cosmo is about $500 higher. I'd like to stay around $250/night but would be willing to go up for the right fit. Obviously, I only need one room and plan on canceling the two others.

All of these have pluses and minuses of course. Here's how I see it.
    Cosmo:
Base room, great view, small pool, fun casino, ok food. I don't like the thought of paying $370/night for a base room though.

    Aria:
Suite, good views, suite seems to have a funky configuration (a concern), good pool from what I read, ok casino, good food.

    Mirage:
Suite with good space, ok view, comfortable casino, so so food, good pool.

Anyone have any thoughts? All advice is appreciated.

Hmm. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. I personally would axe out Cosmo just for the price point.

Honestly I'd be torn between Aria and Mirage. But, I like being in Aria much more, I like their food, and their casino, and the location. Mirage I just never find all that interesting, but I think that room is super cool.

IMO, Mirage is the worst of the 3.

If you are more into the social night club scene with the younger crowd, Cosmo may be the place. However, I would not pick it due to the extra cost.

Personally, Aria is my favorite casino. Rooms and casino are great. For the price also, gotta go with Aria.

Agree with Bull. Aria is the best choice.
If you are concerned about the configuration or floor plan of the Corner Suite at Aria, you may not have to worry.
I have stayed in Corner Suites 5 or 6 times and have seen 4 different floor plans.
The one you are looking at online may be different.
At the check in desk they have outlines showing you what your room will look like.
Request a different type if you don't like it.

Based on your priorities, I would go with Aria. you're correct, the corner suite is oddly configured, but it is still larger than a basic room. And the pool scene there is better than you think

    Aria

    Cosmo costs too much.

Mirage is too far up and not as good.

    Correcto!

Aria seems to the way to go. Cosmo is good but not for that price point.

Im 34 as well and Aria and Cosmo is my goto properties along with Wynncore. I only stay at Aria when its much cheaper and even though its very good it still aint Cosmo.

I also prefer the pool at Cosmo over Aria and the blwd pool is just a cool chill place to hang out and the bamboo is not bad either if you want a quieter experience. Arias pool is not bad but really dont have a good vibe and i just cant put my finger on it but it just isnt as much fun as Cosmo.

Cosmo casino is smaller but a lot more fun and surrounded by great restaurants and bars and Arias advantage is that they have better gaming conditions and some good restaurants as well.

I probably go with Cosmo considering what you describe and when i pay half at Aria compared to Cosmo then is were i move over since its still a good property and only a short walk over to Cosmo.

    Aria.

Mirage is out immediately because of location and lack of action compared to other two.

Aria beats Cosmo because you are getting the higher level room for less and personally I find the pool scene more to my liking at Aria. Being so close you'll still have access to the positive things Cosmo has to offer, we almost always bounce back and forth between the two.

    Have a great trip!

Thank you everyone for the input. Mirage, as much as I like it, is now out. This is a trip for me to stay more mid strip. I stayed at V/P last trip as was a little board at that end of the strip.

Given the price point it seems like, stay at Aria visit Cosmo.

If you stay at Aria try the $20 sandwich to get a Panoramic Corner Suite. it's has the best layout imo.

After all that I got a comp offer email yesterday from Cosmopolitan so now I am going to the Cosmo with a one bedroom fountain view room!

Thanks for everyone's help and now I can move onto planning my June trip with my boys.
