Let me preface this by saying, I go to casino's about 1-2x per month, normally play slots and have my favorites but I do like like hearing what other people like to play or feel or "hotter" machines in regards to win vs bet and bonuses.

Going to the holy land in 24 hours so I'm looking for some new ones to be on the look out for.

My son and I both LOVE Wheel of Fortune machines... I know they've been around and being connected to a progressive network we know the pay outs percentages are lower, but we love 'em. Particularly, because we can understand what's going on! So many of the newer machines have so much happening, you don't know if you hit something or not, then you think you did and it turns out to be jack.

Games we play must have a pop-culture theme, preferably even Sci-Fi or similar (Lord of the Rings, Batman, Ghostbusters, Plants vs. Zombies), but more importantly must have lots of cool features and bonuses with good soundtracks.

ive got my favorites, some I cant even find anymore though. I like IGT Pinball alot, the old 3 wheel ones were the best but the new video ones are cool too. I love Golden Gate, fun machine you dont see around much! Used to love Family Feud, could always find it in the back of Binions until a few years ago. I enjoy Cheers although it hardly ever pays or hits a bonus. Excited to play Ferris Bueller in a few weeks, cant wait!

I play the 'Bombay' machines at the Gold Coast in LV and the Borgata in AC. Seems Harrah's/CET does not have them or I've never seen.
I'm a VP player but a friend of mine turned me on to this machine, now I'm hooked on it for a few sessions a trip.
Penny machine /100 lines and can go up to $5 a spin.Have hit a few $ 2-3 hundred spins and I'd say in 20 sessions or so,I may be up or even.

On 3 reel dollars, my favorite is 3x4x5x. Otherwise I like the Life of Luxury - the Best Things in Life. This is getting harder and harder to find now though, as it's pretty old. But I do like Siberian Storm - even though it regularly beats the snot out of me.

My thoughts exactly. I play slots to kill time which sometimes ends up being a couple of hours. Half the games nowadays I don't know if I've won or not. Still love the WOF and the simpler machines that don't incorporate 30+ lines.

The wife and I really like the new Iron Man slot. Lots of fun play and the bonuses can really be ass-ticklers sometimes, with pretty hefty payouts.

have my best luck on "sizzling sevens" typically when they will have a "bank" of them 6 or more. Dollar ones are $3 per play and sizzling payout is $1000. They seem to be set to pay these jackpots since they are only $1000.
Like wheel of fortune, problem being I don't see anyone "spinning" the wheel winning jack shit anymore. I have sat and spun the wheel 5-6 times in a session and won 25-30 coins every time. Gets too frustrating. Like some of the new penny machines. Ferris Bueller was a "boring" game for me when very few bonus rounds that amounted to anything. Much hype when it came out and now you see very few people playing it.

My go-to machine is Gold Fish. The original, not 2. Other than that, Wheel of Fortune, of course. LOTR is one I enjoy as well. But there is one at the Gold Coast I always play; it's called "Double Gold" or something like that. It's a bank of three machines with a progressive that's topped out at 999,999.99. I sat down at it once with $5 while I was waiting on a friend so we could leave for San Fran, and turned it into $95. Good way to end a trip that hadn't seen much other luck. That kind of experience will make anyone a fan of a machine.

My all time favorite are the Hangover slots! I've always walked away a winner!

When I play at Winstar I'll play Iced Out every now and again, it's pretty fun.
