that makes zero sense at all...you would think they would want as much free publicity via social media and websites.

Beyond dumb they won't allow "real" photos with a camera.

Wonder if a date has been selected as we may be out there. Not as exciting as a new casino opening, still........

"Rumor has it a star-studded grand opening is planned for April."

I was there in the daytime so I guess it doesn't count. I took a pic from the same spot as reader "Scott S." in the article. No one said so much as "boo" to me.

    O'Shea's has an outdoor bar.

I really like the architecture of that Mexican place.

    Brooklyn Bowl opens March 8.

The Flamingo has a Linq entrance. I accidentally found it after a walk through the Flamingo Habitat.

The digital video on LVB is pretty cool.

And if you want a good view of the High Roller park on the top level of the Westin garage. It's free, unsupervised and the view up there is unobstructed.

I am going to take a wild ass guess here... that it has something to do with the construction crew itself. Maybe somebody has filed a workers comp or OSHA complaint or something.

In all reality, by time somebody took a few pics and was asked to move along, it would be over. There are so many easy ways to take pictures, I think they are just being stupid. For example, taking picture of my friends with Linq in background. etc. etc. And, an iphone can take as good a picture as anything.

I really thing there is some weird backstory to this, and real camera sets them off. Idiots are everywhere.

In reading the other posts, it does not appear they are stopping social media, etc via smartphones.

This sounds somewhat like that rule they had on the Grand Canyon Skywalk thing.

My guess is that it won't last very long.

Good Gawd, there are cameras everywhere in LV.

My hunch is that its a security thing that will loosen up once they have completed work.

The only thing I thought was they didn't want people stopping to take photo's and holding up the walking traffic?

Stupid rule though no matter how you try to explain it.

This doesn't make any sense, why would they not care about a Smartphone or IPhone but care about a "real" camera? Most of your phones take just as good pictures as a "real" camera. Just another idiot making up rules without reason.

Unless they are afraid that someone will try to blow it up or something. Crazy but I could see the point, and would not be surprised by knee jerk reactions.
