No, it means that, as me, someone who entertained you and that you enjoyed has moved on. Shirley was an American icon. May she rest in peace.

Very sad, but Ms. Temple Black lived a very successful and influential life. She was even the US Ambassador to Czechoslovakia at one point.

I agree, all appearances are that she had a very nice life... but ughhhhh... her movies!!! I was a kid in the 60's and loved me some Jerry Lewis (Hey Lady!!!!!), but Shirley's movies were often on the same channel (not many channels back then)... man she annoyed me!!!:poke:

You become THE BIGGEST money maker in Hollywood
    by age 4.
28 movies and at the age of 7.......?
    You're "washed up" !
    Only in Hollywood.:nworthy:

By age fourteen, she was described, as a
"chain smoking - not very friendly, teen".
( a 14 yr old "chain smoking"--- that part makes me laugh ! ):evillaugh

I watched her movies when I was a kid --
wasn't alot on in those days.

Sorry...she was not a chain smoking nasty ass teen at 14....Don't know where you are getting your info from.
She was the 1st CHILD star !
She was able to go on with a full life even after she left the spotlight. She went on to do many good things for her country...Shirley got to be an ambassador for the country she loved. She never looked back and never complained about what she could of had. She fought to get others what they deserved. Even tho her money was wasted by her parents...she never said anything about it.
She took the rest of her life trying to help others!
Very sad to see her light go out.
