Do all go rooms use the nicer elevator aka NOT the habitat elevator?

Can't help you here, but just for my info: What's wrong with the habitat elevator?

No. There are go rooms that use the habitat elevator.

Lady, nothing wrong with it but they do appear a bit "beat up" for lack of a better word. Definitely tarnished inside and a bit dirty looking. Almost something I would of expected in a garage elevator, but they are fast and your only in them for 30 seconds or so.

I've stayed at the Flamingo countless times and here's what I know about the elevators.

There appear to be three banks of elevators (that I know of anyway). All of the elevators can reach all of the rooms. The banks are:

    1. The main ones. These are FAST compared to the IP/Quad and there's almost always one open or arriving on the main level. On the room floor you will seldom wait more than 30 seconds or so for one of these.

    2. The ones up by the brew pub. Not as fast as the main ones but handy if you're toward the east side of the room floors.

    3. The ones by the Habitat. These are the ones I probably use the least but they seem to be very prompt as well. It's kind of a rat maze to get to these from some rooms but not nearly as bad as the IP.

I have stayed in Go rooms accessed from the Main elevators and the Spa Tower elevators. Never been in the Habitat elevators, but I can't say definitively that there are no Go rooms there. I suspect there probably are and that I just haven't gotten one of those, pure conjecture though.

There absolutely ARE GO rooms in the Habitat tour. I don't prefer that tour only because of the dragin' my bags through the casino thing. I've found those elevators to be quite fast and the strip views from that tour are awesome.

I usually request a GO room in the lobby tour only because I'm lazy... those elevators land within feet of my fave VP machines. However I have been in GO rooms in all three towers.

Had a Go room last week when i checked in i ask to be in the tower by the lobby

They said sure no problem and on the 22 floor they had brand new carpets in the hallway and black hard floor by the elevators ,the ugly worn out brown carpet was still there on most floor but 22 has been redone

So al the elevators can get to all the towers?

So the floors are all connected?

I'd rather walk longer in the hallway and take my wife in the nicer elevators.

I've definitely walked between all sets of elevators on one floor.

However, I would not call any set of elevator nicer than any other.

The main bank of elevators is definitely more prompt, and by nature will sometimes be more crowded, but never like at the IP/Quad.

I've never had issue with the Habitat elevators. Certainly aged, but not much of a problem.

The dragging the bags through the casino is a bit of a chore, but again, I'm not overly bothered by it.

I do think as noted there are go rooms via the habitat elevators.

The flamingo is actuall7 "L" shaped, so You can use any of the 3 banks of elevators to get to your room. Having said that, 1 of the banks will usually be closer. Remember though that the hallways are vary long, and they can give you a sense of vertigo - but if you do take the wrong elevator by mistake you can get to your room if you keep walking far enough.

The "Spa" elevators (right by the pearl factory) access most of the go rooms and are the closest to the pool area.

The bank of elevators off the lobby are at the center of the "L" and can access any of the rooms, but they tend to be the busiest.

The habitat elevators are primarily for the Fab and Deluxe rooms - there are actually a ton of elevators here, and they are in 2 groupings - walk all the way to the back group as they are used the least. These are the elevators that are closest to the diamond lounge as well.

During busy times though, it is easier and faster to just walk down the hotel corridor to the other end of the casino you want to get too. You can also use the habitat exit to quickly get to valet by cutting across the zoo area (which is what the bellman also do).

Really? On my trip before last I had a GO room on the 23rd floor. Went up using the main elevators - could not find the room - at all. Finally went back downstairs and were told we would need to use the spa elevators. We must have missed it.
