All I can say is after seeing the half time show, I'm putting this guy as one of the entertainers I want to see. I'll probably plan my October trip around the dates he has at the Cosmopolitan. He style is perfect for vegas, the clothes, the tie, the hair, the moves, the high energy. It was like watching a cross between Michael Jackson and Sammy Davis Jr. This guy is made for Las Vegas.

Fun to watch. What I could hear (we had a loud crowd last night) sounded good. I'd go see him.

I've never seen him live but he's going to be in my area at Summerfest in June so I'll probably check him out.

I sure like him... he's one of my wife's favorites!!! He'll be playing out here at Lake Tahoe this summer on the outdoor stage at Harvey's.

OK, I'm old. I watched him and thought it was a decent halftime SB show. I am confused though. I hear Bruno Mars and Red hot Chille Peppers in the same sentence.

Is /was he part of that group and now has become so big he gets lead billing? Dating myself now but like Diana Ross & the Supremes?

No not at all, he wasn't even born when they formed and was a toddler when they were big. It was just a bit of the old and a bit of the new. At first I thought it was a strange combo as well but they pulled it off really well in my opinion making it one of the better halftime show performances I can remember.

Crazy to think that Anthony Kiedis is 51 years old! He looked in better shape than most 20 year olds. And Bruno Mars is 28 and the youngest solo performer to ever do a halftime show or something like that. Kudos to them both.

I think they threw in the chili peppers to draw in the 40 something crowd considering their first album released 30 years ago. Bruno doesn't have anything to do with them other than he probably owned a few albums of theirs over the years.

What KC said... I also heard since Mars is relatively new on the "big-scene" and somewhat limited in huge hits, RHCP added some "credibility" to the stage being a much larger act. Let's give my boi Flea (RHCP bass player) some props for the performance too. I thought his head was gonna fly right off his shoulders, he was shaken' it so hard!!!

I'm kicking myself in the ass for not planning our trip later in May when he will be at the Cosmo.

My 58 yo wife LOVES Bruno Mars, so does my 8 yo Grandaughter. She cleaned instead of watching the Superbowl. (the burglars must have a clean house while we are gone), and I kept teasing her that the halftime show was over. (okay, it didn't have much of an effect after the first time)

So instead of going out to do my errands before we take off tomorrow morning, I have to sit here until noon to buy Bruno tickets for Summerfest when they become available.

I even like the guy, my wife had a video on of him singing a doo wop song and it was great! (Am I old or what?)

one other thing, if I had known Bruno was playing at the Cosmo on the 15th, I would have not changed my reservations back a week, just because I couldn't book the Bellagio, I could have gone elsewhere.

I saw something of facebook once that said Bruno Mars is what you'd get if Michael Jackson and Donny Osmond had a baby. I'm a fan!

I'm not a fan of his music but thought he put on one heck of a show.

Bruno has the reputation of being a TRUE entertainer, I thought he did great in the half time show. As a matter of fact, after a few minutes in the 3rd quarter, I wished they had left Bruno on the field and called it a game!

Actually when Bruno was asked to do the halftime show, he asked the committee if he could bring in the Chili Peppers to perform with him. It was something he wanted to do, I guess they are good friends and I thought it was a really cool thing for him to do. He has really gotten big over the last few years, and was a great choice for the Super Bowl, best halftime show ive seen in quite awhile!

Big fan of Bruno, however I heard on the radio today that performance at halftime show was recorded and they synced it. They said it was decided because of the huge venue and so many things could have gone wrong so they went with the recording. That still doesn't change my opinion of him, as a matter of fact I'm thinking of moving up my trip one day as he will be at the Cosmo just before we arrive.

He's in Vegas next weekend we were there and I really enjoy him as a performer. Looked up tickets and couldn't find any under 400.

    Yeah I'll pass.
