Hello I will be making my yearly trip to Vegas with my brother in April. We are staying at the Luxor. I was wondering if there are any shuttle services from the airport to Luxor or close by. We travel light so a little walking will not kill us. I looked at the Luxor's site but did not see anything. Anyone know of a shuttle that would get me close enough and the price? or would a taxi be better?

    Thanks

You can take one of the shuttles at the airport. Belltrans I think is one of the vendors. I think it's around 30 round trip to the airport.

Might be cheaper for you guys to take a cab from what I've been hearing from the forums.

Taxi is the easiest and sometimes least expensive option.

You can take the WAX city bus to NYNY, cross over and take the free Excalibur shuttle to Luxor. $2 a person.

Honestly I would just take a cab. Airport to mgm is around $12 so I would figure the trip to luxor would be under $15 as well. At least with a cab u don't wait for other passengers and don't have to potentially make multiple stops like u would with a shuttle.

Yup, pretty much this. The shuttle is $6 per person so you're not saving any money. Plus you have to wait for the shuttle to fill up and they usually make multiple stops. I took the shuttle my first couple of trips, but after it took 90+ minutes to get to my hotel and the return one was 45 minutes late, I use cabs.

Another vote for the WAX bus. Works well for south strip properties, specially since you travel light.

IMO, a taxi is the best option. I can't imagine being dropped off at NYNY, to save at most, about 10 bucks.
