DVD: Vegas The City The Mob Made

Finally finished watching the two DVD set of Vegas: The City The Mob Made. 10 shows total.

I'm offering it up free to the first PM I get. One catch, though...you must send it to the next VMB person free when you are done with it.

Now my question is do you want a copy of the files - from John UK - the history of Vegas - that I downloaded from the internet?

Huge, amazing read, lots of pictures, takes each property downtown and on the strip and brings you from the beginning to the present.

Took me weeks to go through it all.

I can bring you a cd with the ten files, that are read by the adobe reader on my computer, to the MSS when we meet next Friday at the Boar's head Bar at 2PM.

Or I can put it on a USB Flash drive.

 

While this was a good series and I enjoyed it. Alot of the info was repetetive and the opening got especially annoying! But I would recomend it to anyone who loves Vegas History!

 

I also have a copy if anyone wants it. just shoot me a PM It is very interesting, but yea the constant intro 10 times does get old. One question. Why does Anothny Curtis always look away from the camera?

 

A CD would be the preferred form for me, but whatever is easiest for you.

I'm surprised you didn't have more response also. It was a TV show, and yes the lead in for every episode was irritating, but you can skip that.

Maybe the pool of the interested, bought the DVD when the original discussion took place, like I did.

Yeah, ditto on the intro. Anthony Curtis looking away from the camera is weird. Maybe he has a good side he wants to feature.

Joe was kind enough to send me the 10 episode set which I just finished. I would watch one of two shows each week as I ironed clothes. It was a nice way to get through a boring task.

In keeping with Joe's generosity and following his request, I will gladly pay to mail this dvd to the next person who wants it, as long as you also pass it forward like Joe did.
