If you have a preference, explain why.

I prefer craps. It's a much more exciting game. The house edge is so much lower also.

Roulette got me started on table games. I rarely play it anymore though.

I agree with the above poster. My sentiments exactly. I don't play BJ at all..don't feel I am that good at the game. And the other card games.. CSP LIR etc have a big house advantage so kinda avoid them.

Craps all the way. I love the energy level at the craps table. A hot table is super exciting. Watching the wheel not so much. Plus a crowded roulette table is a pain. You have to reach around everybody to get your chips down.

a crowded roulette table is sslooooooooowwwwwww. Sometimes it seems like you have to wait forever for that next spin (which I guess is a good thing because of the huge house edge).

I enjoy both. If I'm flying solo I like craps but if I'm with some friends that aren't comfortable with crap I'll do some rouellete. It also depends on table minimums and because of the higher HA at roulette I like the lower min tables like $10 or $15.

If I've drunk alot and don't want to make decisions any longer I head to the roulette table. I have my 5 split numbers that I could put down even if I were unconscious. Can't make a bad bet at roulette, can't make a good one either, lol.

As a game, there is no comparison: Craps it is.

But there are times I will sit down at a roulette wheel. There are any of a number of reasons:

    • You lose money much more slowly than craps. $100 buy in at a $10 table can last hours if you are even marginally lucky.
    • It is easier to converse with people at the table. Craps just moves too fast.
    • You can sit down. After a couple hours at a craps table, I need to sit for a while.

Craps and it's not even close.

Roulette tends to be a game for newbies. It's the most intuitive table game there is to play. You don't have to know poker hands, you don't have to know any sort of strategy to improve your odds. You just pick a number or a color and bet it. If it comes up you win, if not you lose. Most seasoned gamblers know that in addition to it's simplicity, it also carries a huge house edge, above nearly any other game in the casino besides slots.

I NEVER play at a double zero roulette table because the house edge is too high and the numbers are all in the wrong places compared with a singe zero wheel. So its craps for me when in Vegas unless I,m high rolling.

Both, for reasons articulated above. If I'm by myself and feeling up, then I'll find a craps table. If I'm drooping and want to sit for a bit, or the wife and I want to play together for a bit, then we'll hunt up a roulette wheel.

Craps is the most fun you can legally have in a casino. I only play roulette (or blackjack or VP) if I want to relax for awhile and sit. As said above a crowded roulette table moves very slow.

I'll go against the crowd - Roulette for me.

Suits my style as a gambler as I like big collects (yeah I know about the flip side of that) - so I am an inside numbers guy and load 3 up big time and a few others to hopefully keep me in the game long enough for a hit.

The adrenaline of hitting a number with a stack of chips on is better than anything else for me (gambling wise that is !). Of course the same number hitting next spin when you have rolled the bet (or topped it up) is insane.

I also love the vibe around a good table - more time to chat, get to know people and celebrate each others wins etc.

Not anti craps - love it as well - in fact they are probably my 2 games in a casino. But you did ask me to choose:beer:

Another vote for craps here. The feeling of a hot table or being the hot shooter is awesome.

I enjoy roulette too but I will maybe play that 3-4 times a trip for only 10-15 minutes at a time. The only time I will camp out there is if my girlfriend is with me because that's her favorite.

I like both. I prefer a boisterous and crowed craps table while I prefer playing alone at roulette.

I like both but I'll be honest - I prefer roulette.

I rarely go inside where the numbers are ....... I bounce on the outside with odd/even, black/red, middle 12 etc. Betting low and high as the past numbers dictate.

The secret "I think" to successful roulette playing is to not get sucked into one table for an extended period. Pick your moments and bounce in and out of several tables when they are ripe for the picking.

Yeah , I'm a cherry picker but I am there to win money and I'll do it almost any way I can within the rules.

I play roulette late at night drunk being a degenerate. I play craps earlier when I'm actually trying to win money

I usually try 1 roulette table a day. Take $100 and just run the money through once. Basically just hope for a nice hit and leave.

Craps is what I play if I want to play for a longer time.

Both are still less than 20% of what I play though. They just eat through my money too quick as I like to press a lot in craps.
