    My Trip Report

On my way to Vegas. Planning on a low rolling trip with one primary goal.

That goal is to stiff the downtown grand on an offer I was sent. This I do on behalf of of our VMB board.

I hope to give short, unexciting updates......if I can figure out tapatalk.

Well...you'll still have to pay the resort fee...just remember that.

I am out of touch on all things downtown. Why are you trying to stiff downtown grand on behalf of VMBers?

Downtown Grand pulled an insanely quick and large decrease in video poker paytables after opening with good downtown 9/6 paytables, they quickly switched to 7/5.

I was especially offended because we had some good VMB friends give them solid play. Basically the VMB'ers made an investment in a relationship with Downtown Grand based on the presentation of competitive downtown gaming conditions in a superior new property.

I wouldn't call it quite "Palazzo-esque" but it was definitely a breach of trust dropping the paytables so significantly so quickly.

You have to take a flyer on the some high volatility VP in hopes of a huge hit and run - you know that right?

$20 well placed on dollar double double... who knows, maybe you get dealt Aces kicker.

You definitely don't want to play more than, say, half the value of one room night.

got a crotch massage from a great senior gal at the cal. Unfortunately, stiffies and 24 beverages in one day don't quite mix.

Just got asked a very strange question: Hillary Clinton or Margaret Thatcher? Assuming they are both alive.

Averaging just over 1.5 drink per hour including sleeping time during this trip. I am very disappointed with my performance… and still remarkably sober
