I have found the LVH prop bets on line before and found them interesting. Going this year and planning on actually making some not only for me but some local cronies as well. I noticed some of them (not a great many) can be parlayed and others (most) are just straight bets.

My question is this---where can I find the betting code (4 digit number) for each bet ahead of time as this would greatly speed the process to have the numbers ahead of time rather than waiting to arrive at the LVH (assuming the sportsbook has "hand-outs" with the prop bets and corresponding numbers)

I hope this is clear enough to respond to. Also plan on going Thursday night to avoid what crowd I can and make the bets. Sounds like Friday / Saturday are busy and Sunday is beyond comprehension.

The LVH prop sheet will probably come out next Thursday or Friday. It should be posted online shortly after that.
Once you find it online it will give you all the same information as the printed copy at the LVH.

This website will usually take a picture of the prop sheets and upload them onto the website. I would check here before you leave, as I am fairly certain you will find what you are looking for:

Thanks a lot. I may have a number of bets that would take some time for minimal rate. This is great information. Thanks again..

I went to the website (thanks Vegas or Bust) and looked it over trying to acclimate myself. I saw the prop bets from last year's SB but they did not have the 4 - digit betting number beside the bet.
What I am trying to find (if it exists) is a website posting copies of the prop bets with betting numbers prior to Thursday prior to the SB.

However, I guess I need more help if I am not going to find the actual betting number prior to arriving on site at the LVH.....Are the prop bets laying about the book for you to access (last year I ran off pages of them from a website and can't see that volume of paper stacked)? but then have not been to LVH during SB.

I am only trying to minimize my time at the book and at the counter. I will have my (and friend's) bets known but would not look forward to having to wait until arriving at the LVH to secure the numbers for each one. If anyone has done this and has a site or a better plan when getting there it would greatly help in planning and preparation.

    Thanks.

    bubba,

Someone almost always posts a pdf file of all of the sheets right here on VMB.

It usually pops up next week about this time.

Can someone post the line for Marshawn Lynch total rushing yards?

I like that wager more than Denver -2.

As soon as it is available online I am printing it out and it will be studied hard on the plane ride out with a few drinks.

I will be at LVH at the crack of dawn Saturday morning to get my stuff in

Are there any honest people on this board that will be in LV that would like to place a prop wager for me?

I will pay for a drink as a thank you.

I'll happily place a prop for you if you want. I get in next Weds and will probably head to LVH on Thurs or Fri.

I get in Thursday and plan to go over around noon so I could at least make sure he makes the bet before the thank-you drink! I have screwed that up before.

    Interesting / informative article---

not sure of correct way to post....hopefully moderator will clean up any improper entries.......

    http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-01-21/super-bowl-weather-delays-vegas-prop-bets-for-manning-touchdowns.html

    some comments---

“Everything, except for the basic stuff, is going to pushed back a day or two so we can get a much more clearer picture of what the weather is going to be like,” Jay Rood, sports book director at the MGM Mirage, said in a telephone interview from Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Hotel’s SuperBook doesn’t plan to delay the Jan. 23 release of its Super Bowl props, yet assistant manager Jeff Sherman said oddsmakers will be watching weather forecasts when compiling betting lines.

“We’re pretty mindful of everything,” Rood said. “We might start up with fairly low betting limits to start out. Then we’d amp it up as the crowds show up in Las Vegas that Friday before the game. By then, we’d know with more certainty what’s in store weather-wise.”

It is not a long article but the above is the gist.....hopefully the quotations are allowed but if not it can be seen within the article itself at the above website.....

Turns out that I forgot that you US guys can't bet online like we can in the UK! JWBlue is quite happy for me to bet online rather than head all the way up to LVH.

Thanks for letting me know about these. I usually make all my super bowl prop bets online, but found a couple lines better at LVH than online right now. So will be making a trip there tomorrow to put in bets. Hopefully it wont be an issue mailing in the winners and getting paid. If I have any winners I guess. How do they send payment for that by the way. I know I have done this before, but it has been about 15 years and I don't remember how I got paid. I have about 5 bets circled that I will make there if the lines or juice hasn't changed.

Thanks Rush. I just wanted to make it easier once I get to the book. If the order of the bets is the same that is just as good as I can locate them quickly if in the same order. One more thing checked off the to do list....thanks again.....
