I'm new to the gambling hobby, so I'm just starting to learn the ropes. Can anybody give me an idea what level of play you need to have to start getting room comps? I'm trying to get an idea of how many TCs per day CET wants gamers to have before they provide offers.

    I assume you mean Vegas?

I got a midweek free room offer for Horseshoe Bossier City and 1 free buffet any day of the week. I hardly played about a month ago. Earned around 130 points I think. Was able to get $1 off my coffee the next morning. Haha

It's pretty much just stop in and say hello. My wife has not played at CET in 16 months. In 2012, she amassed just 763 TC's over about 6-7 days of slots. That's basically nothing. I just checked her account and she can get free rooms at Quad, Harrahs, Bally's, and RIO most weekdays and some weekends.

A couple of visits at 200 to 300 TR per visit should get you weekday offers in Vegas for base rooms. My wife who hardly plays 1000TR earned last year gets 3 night offers for base rooms at Rio, Harrahs, Ballys, Quad, and Flamingo.

That's good to hear, as we're planning on giving 1000 TC (in one day) to CET, to see if her offers will JUMP up.

We went in 2012 for 6 days. I don't recall what our TR earned was, but we went back last year and had 5 nights comped. Gambled the same as the year prior and have zero comps this year...

Can't add too much to what everyone else has said. Getting comped rooms at CET properties such as Ballys, Rio, Harrahs, The Quad, and Flamingo are pretty easy to get with minimal play. Paris, PHo, and Caesars require more than just "casual play".

Couldn't help but get a little chuckle when you used this term...."I'm new to the gambling hobby....."

More than once I have gone to Vegas, or Tunica and spent most of my time at another casino. If you low play them, your offers will drop. If you ZERO play them, they may not know you were there, and your ADT stays put.

I do most of my gaming in Atlantic City because it's close to me and I game at CET properties, because they have such an extensive network and I also like going to Vegas. Am I correct in assuming that I will also get offers for Vegas for play in AC or are they specific to the particular casinos you frequent?

I think he was talking about staying there and not playing them "several" times. I was just curious why you would do this?:poke:
If I was not going to play them I wouldn't stay in their room.

I don't go to any harrahs properties locally so it makes it hard when in vegas. My bankroll is too small to handle 3+ properties. I will give them some slot play maybe a few hundred this trip
