    Hello all,
Part of the "planning" (for lack of a better term) that my girlfriend and I have going on is to eat at Mon Ami Gabi for breakfast and people-watch. Has anyone ever had breakfast there? What's the good word on what to order and what's your experience with their service and food? Thanks.

I go there regularly. Everything I've had has been really good. Try the bananas foster French toast or corned beef hash. The Bloody Mary bar is also not to be missed.

Well I hate tomato juice so the bloody mary bar is probably out for me. I'm definitely in the market for some bananas foster, though. How big of a pain is it to get seating outside on the terrace? Do you just have to get there early or wait in line?

I always get there close to when they open at 8 and get seated right away.

Okay thanks. I can probably make that, but getting the girlfriend's arse out of bed before 10 will be a project.

We have a mon ami gabi here in our area. Foods always great but cant comment on the seating area at paris.

Everyone commenting on the bloody mary bar, we have that also here where you basically make your own but it is only on sunday. Is it everyday in vegas?

I like that place for breakfast. I tend to stick with a vegetable omelet with a side of sausage, and the muffins are good, too. The one disappointment I had was eggs benedict made with some sort of a braised beef for the meat, it lacked flavour.

I go early, so getting a table ringside isn't a problem, but at 7 a.m. the foot traffic is sparse, so the only people watching is the arrivals that came too late to walk into a good table, and grouse and moan about being in the corner, or otherwise not front and center on the strip.

It sounds like the one in vegas is always open for breakfast, lunch, dinner. The one here is only lunch and dinner but has a sunday brunch which is the only time they have the bloody mary bar/section.

We do breakfast and lunch there on EVERY trip. Always on patio.

Always take friends and newbies as well.

What else is there to say?

I love this place. usually eat lunch or dinner here every trip.
Last trip we ate breakfast there twice. The first I was unimpressed....so tried again a few days later. Still not terribly impressed. I'll go back for lunch or dinner, but prob. not for breakfast.

Wife and I eat breakfast here every trip out. The lemon pancakes are just fantastic but I've got a huge sweet tooth.

I also have breakfast there every trip. Never had a bad meal and always had luck getting a table on the patio around 8:30am.
    Enjoy!

I do breakfast there every trip, and all of my experiences have been nothing less than excellent. From the service to the food to the coffee, it's been the most consistent restaurant I've visited in Vegas. As far as what to order, the mushroom & Brie omelet is sublime, as are the skinny pancakes.

My GF and I did Mon twice for breakfast in a 4 day trip.

I recommend to get there the earliest you can, you will have no line and everything around the patio is quiet and peaceful.

I highly recommend both of the dishes I had: salmon eggs benedict and steak frites.
