Have a stay starting on 1/13 in the Lanai suite at Mirage for 3 nights then the panoramic penthouse suite at Aria for 2 nights. So looking forward to being in the Lanai pool in my patio. This is the first trip i have had in years where i have skipped the Skylofts. As I stated before, i think the Skylofts, well nice, have lost their luster.

Can't wait to see pics! Do you think you will be using the pool? I am going in 35 days and figure it will be too cold, even if the pools are heated :drunk:

Lanais are about 1K + per night. I will definitely be in the pool at 6am with my coffee :) Coming up soon!!

I have read all of your hotel reviews about where you stay and love them. I am the same level player as you are unless I am winning.

My wife and I are going memorial weekend and want to book either a sky loft, wynn/encore tower suite or a sky suite for 1 nite. Either the morning we arrive or on our actual anniv.

I get the regular rooms comped and sometimes a regular suite. Do you know if your play will help reduce the suite rate at the end of your stay? I am a 300-400 avg Bj/bacc player (that's where I'm comfortable) but have played up to 5k a hand in bacc and Bj when winning big.

Which do you think we would enjoy the most for 1 day/night for the money and have you been able to get any or 1 night comped off based on your play?

    Thnx and enjoy your trip.

Thanks for reading. I think my posts give off the wrong image of the kind of gambler I am. I am a 100/hand bj player unless I am at the Cosmo where the lowest HL was 200. Steep for me. I go 3 times a yr from philly area. I have never gotten any of my suites comped. Never asked because I know it would be futile. I just keep my Plat level and work relationships when I am there. Doesn't lower the rate but helps in other areas I guess. Geez, forget your question! I just got into Lanai 15 at Mirage and am typing his next to my own small pool. Asked them to heat it up a little :). Another goose and sprite! I will be posting a short video of it now.

Looks like my grandmother's condo in Sarasota. Just nothing sexy or appealing about it TO ME, other than the pool. And even that doesn't excite me that much.

Don't disagree especially compared to that remodeled 2 BR Villa I got last time. To each his own. I will take the pool over the Skylofts these days no questions asked. Especially the level of attention. And the Apple TV so I can listen to my own music wirelessly out by the pool.

Thanks Good. FYI, noticed u were going to Aria. Nice! I really like it. Stayed a couple of times in the two BR Penthouse and once in the corner suite. I will be going to the 1 BR Panoramic Penthouse on Thursday. Looks pretty cool. Will post video of course.

The Lanais look Golden Girls era and need updating... But then again, it's why they're so affordable. If they had the design of the redone Villas, they would be a lot more pricey (and not so 80s looking).

The pool is lovely, but not enough of a selling point for me to put up with that dated looking room.

I agree that it does looked dated, but still nice nonetheless.
