One of our neighbors was arrested for murder. They found a body in the pond on her property. They are now looking for more bodies. Our street is swarming with law enforcement! Crazy things going on here. :faint:

In my development, about 300 yards from my house, a guy murdered his pregnant girlfriend and then committed suicide. I never knew about it until I saw it on the news.

My last house was out in the country on a lake. Sheriffs office raided my next door neighbor for having a very large scale mary jane grow in his lower level. It was complete with the lights, auto watering system and all.

I know mary jane isnt dangerous, but some of the characters that were coming to and from stuck out like sore thumbs. It was back to peaceful after it happened.

Now that they have the "medical" marijuana cards here in Oregon we have pot farms everywhere. I can name at least 10 places within 3 miles of our house. It smells like skunk everywhere for a couple of months while the harvesting is being done. The smell has finally gone away in the last month.

We live on 7 acres, mostly wooded. This person is just over the hill, 2 driveways away.

So far: 2 counts Murder/1st degree, 2 counts Abuse of Corpse/1st degree, Identity Theft

Before I got on my ship a guy that lived in my berthing was pulled out of his rack one night and arrested for murder. He and a girl went out to a club and he expected to get some, she resisted and he killed her with a pipe and threw her body in a dumpster. He went back to the ship and went to sleep like nothing happened.

A house next to mine had a dead man in it 7 years. He had no wife nor kids, so no one knew. I saw the coroner take the body bag out and into the van.

Also, a man froze to death on a bench, and next day was taken away.

We have had people a few houses down arrested for child porn. And every so often, we have UC cars on our street or a few streets up. One street over there are a ton of cops all the time and their white vans.. no idea what thats all about..

Well damn, the biggest thing to happen here was the DC Sniper and when an estranged bf went into a T-Mobile here and lit his gf on fire.

Luckily where I live is quiet and I only have one neighbor to my right with woods on 2 sides and across the street.

I installed cameras to look outside for any foolishness but....it's quiet like I like it.

I got you all beat, easily. Twice over.

    Story #1

About 10 years ago, I met our new neighbor. A nice woman mid 30s, I met her in the backyard, her dog dug under the fence so I had to pick up the small mut and I called her over (we have very large yards) to hand her pet back. She apologized but wasn't very talkative, my wife and I introduced ourselves, she introduced herself at Lisa. After the encounter I was convinced I knew this woman or had met her before. I should mention I live on Long Island out east in Manorville.

A couple of weeks later a neighbor calls me up and says, "turn on Oprah right now!!!!!!!" So I did and there is Oprah interviewing some woman in her back yard. I recognized the backyard as my next door neighbor and through the woods you can see my house.

Oprah was interviewing Amy Fisher. WTF, the Long Island Lolita lives next to me!!! You remember, Joey Buttafuco, she tried to kill his wife. I knew she looked familiar, Lisa my ass. She was coming out with a book, and the next 6 months were hell with news crews camped out in front. Thank god she and her husband werent getting along, imagine that, and she moved out and he sold.

    Story #2.

I'm watching the news back in 2001, and the news story was breaking about the killing of a rich east hamptoner Ted Ammon. It was a very high profile killing, and sure enough the killer, Daniel Pelosi, the electrician who married the rich socialite Generosa Ammon was name, tried and convicted of the murder. This guy was my neighbor and my ASSISTANT COACH in hockey for 2 years, as our kids were in the same grade and played both hockey and baseball together.

I will tell you this guy is way way too dumb to carry out that killing. This woman knew she was dying, and needed a patsy to take the fall so she could inherit Ammon's entire estate so she can leave it to who she wanted. She planned and executed the whole thing and now this guy is rotting in a jail cell. I have no proof, but I do know the guy and while very dumb, not a killer.

Great stories! My best friend dated one of Canada's most famous serial killers in high school. (He was not active at that time). Also, her neighbour downstairs who lived directly below her murdered a well-known Neo-****, over a woman. Love triangles, man - they're not for everybody.

The worst thing I can accuse my neighbours of is not putting their garbage all the way down the chute. Hate it when I go to throw out my garbage and there's somebody else's bag sitting in the chute. What, you can't push it in two more inches? (that's what she said.)

Wow those are some crazy stories. The only weird thing I can remember is when we were little the adult son of our next door neighbor would come over to our house in the evening to cook his crack (or some drug). He told my mother it was his medicine and the smell from cooking it bothered his mom. My dad would be at work at those times. It wasn't figured out until she mentioned it to one of her friends who was a little more street-smart. His mother apologized profusely and kicked him out of the house and had him arrested over and over throughout the years.
