At home in England I probably have a few glasses a day. In Vegas I easily go through a few litres a day. Between 10 and 15 hours on a plane as well as the complete lack of humidity and the copious drinking mean that I have do down it regularly to avoid feeling a bit dizzy and ill the next day (other than the hangover).

    At home...copious amounts.

In Vegas, usually a glass after brushing my teeth in the morning. Maybe one more at the bar in the morning.

Water - no. Beer - yes, and lots of it.

I drink a lot of water in general. Trips to Vegas, especially in the summer see me drinking extra the day before and on the way down... but when I drink, I forget to keep at it. The bartenders at HRH are good and will usually put a bottled water up for me, but I seldom get caught-up.

I always have a couple Gatorades or Vitamin waters to down before bed. So yeah, water's a must... for the booze AND the dry climate.

FYI Smartone, I'll be over 1st to 8th Feb and watching the Superbowl at Davy's Locker if you're in town. I imagine I'll be there a few more times than that as well!

No booze for me, just soft drinks, occasional OJ and a little water.

I drink a ton here at home but have to make a conscious effort to keep my intake up while in Vegas.

I keep some in the room to have while I am getting ready in the morning and when I get back at night. I will also try to drink a bottle or two every couple of beers while gambling...but sometimes I forget.

I got so drunk and dehydrated once and my legs cramped up.

I drink a lot at home but even more in LV. The dry climate, drink a thons, walk a thons, etc all require more water.

I also pack pedialyte packets and mix one of those into into my final glass before bed to help replace electrolytes.

    Pedialtye...interesting.

I think I am going to buy a couple jugs of it at the Walgreens there by the Venetian when I go next.

Just buy the powder packets before you leave. Comes in like a box of 16 for $8. Its magic, its been talked about a lot on here as a great hangover preventer and cure. I swear by it. I have been using for years, even before everyone was talking about it. I dont vac w out it. The key is to pound it before bed and chase w another full glass of water. Dont rely on it to work magic when you wake up at noon the next day and are already hurting..

You sir, are awesome. I consider myself a seasoned drinker but had never heard of this. I would just guzzle a liter of water and pop a couple aspirin and hope for no hangovers.

Lol, this is like the fifth time you have brought this up on here and this is the fifth time I've agreed with you on it. This shit is magical and yet I think we're the only two that use it.

I will definitely report back on this.

My buddy gets in the next day so I will bring it and have it in the room ready to go for us.

We expect this trip to be heavier than normal in the consumption department because neither of us have been to Vegas in awhile and I haven't had a true vacation in two years because of work.

    It's go time!

Yep during my mid 20"s used to drink pedialyte all the time and keep it in the house to prevent a weekend ending bad hangover.
chugged one of the litre bottled before bed and felt great.

The packets sound real nice for traveling.

I drink a lot of water at home as well, which is why I always buy a pack of water at the gas station on the way to the hotel from the Rental Car Facility.

I average out at around 2 litres a day. I try to go one for one with alcohol and water while i'm drinking.

I probably have almost as much at home though.
