For any big project, I always add in an extra 6 months from their projected completion dates. Nothing gets completed on-time nowadays..

Container Park is open - I've been there twice. It's well worth seeing.

SLS has always targeted Fall 2014 for an opening.

Some of those seem pretty optimistic dates from what I saw in Mid December. Maybe the new shopping areas will be ready, but the SLS and Old Bills were still empty shells. I was predicting by what I saw that neither would be ready until 2015. The Linq area looked like it will be done this year and we missed the opening of O'Sheas by a week.

    Vegas is sooooo slow.

I mean once the structure is up, everything should be easy peasy.

The Cromwell should be finished pretty quickly unless there are still planning issues.

    The Ling? Same thing.

I need this stuff to be up by June damnit.

I don't get why SLS is taking so long. Fall? That's ridiculous. If SLS isn't up, SLS isn't making money.

Thanks, this is a nice recap of new developments for 2014.

Has construction started at Bally's for the bizzar? Just wondering if it's a pedestrian nightmare.

    Ballys

Ballys is definitely under construction out front. To get to the casino you have to walk down the sidewalk on Flamingo or down the taxi entryway toward the Paris side.

I saw on the news today that SLS has 850 construction workers on site but no date of completion given. Same thing with the former Echelon project, no completion date given but they did mention it would be an Asian themed resort and mentioned something about The Great Wall of China being part of its motif. Sadly nothing was mentioned about the Fontainebleau. :peace:

I don't think anyone has been on site working at Fontainebleau in a loooong time!

Yeah, I suspect the owner is playing a waiting game to see which way the wind blows on the north end of the strip once SLS and the former Echelon open. By the way does anyone know what the former Echelon project is named? Thx.

Is the high roller still scheduled for early '14? I really hope this thing is open by the end of March.
