Hello everyone. We are actually out in Vegas right now! We got here a week ago. We bought a motorhome a few years ago, so we dont take advantage of the hotel comps anymore. Love the mh but miss comps from mainly the Orleans. We play LOTS of VP. We have been to the Orleans, South Point, Red Rock and DT but havent had much luck. We have been coming here since the 90's and have never seen such bad VP. Ill update again as we will be here for another week. Hey fellow Texans!
Thanks KLV! Since my last post my luck has come around at the Orleans, my "old faithful", hit a royal on TP and was dealt 4 A's w/kicker on 9/6 DDB. Dang, I hope my luck holds.
Welcome and congratulations! The Orleans was where I hit my first Royal. Turns out it was the first of five that night! Always has been a lucky place for me. Love the great State of Texas! I go there on business 8-10 times per year! Hope the luck holds!
Greetings and welcome from south Texas. Where do you park your RV and I assume you tow a veh. to get around. Good luck and God Bless, stay safe.
Welcome from yet another Texan! I'm also interested in hearing motorhome and RV experiences in Vegas. I'm considering getting one for various places I like to visit for extended stays and Vegas is one of them. I'm torn though because I like the hotel experience but I either can't take the dog in most nice places or have to pay an arm and a leg in daily pet fees at the places I can.
Welcome to the board! Back in the 90s, I once asked a Stardust blackjack dealer about the demographics of Vegas gamblers...mainly, two things - age & where they're from. His answer: "Most are 20-somethings from California, with 30-somethings from Texas being a very close second." Don't know how accurate he was about ages, but I think he was spot-on regarding California & Texas. He did point out that, mid-week, the positions flipped, with Texas @ #1 & California a close second - which also made sense.
motorhome stay in Vegas Forgive me for not replying sooner about where do we like to stay with the motorhome. This was our third trip to stay at the Las Vegas motorcoach resort. It is located at Arrville and Blue Diamond . Rd, We love this place alot they have green grass and palmrtrees
Welcome kaycee2! I've always thought traveling in a motorhome would be a lot of fun, but I'm afraid when it comes to Vegas I would miss the Hotel comps and stays too much. Glad to hear your luck has changed, hope it holds also! Every time I go to Vegas with SandsFan, he makes it a point to visit The Orleans. Although I've never hit there, I've watched him get a Royal on VP at the Alligator bar (playing $1's to boot)! I hope the rest of your trip goes well, safe travels!
