I'm here now, but it seems that the scent has changed. Hard to explain, but it smells a bit more "soapy".

Hmmm...I always picked up a vanilla scent in the lobby there. I'll have to check this weekend and report what my nose says.

The scent is what really bugged me about the Mirage last year. Are there other hotels that pipe a scent in too? That's the only one I've noticed it at.

Ugh...we left the Mirage with headaches last year. That's one reason I don't even look for rooms there. We haven't noticed it being bad anywhere else yet but we only went to a few casinos last year. Definitely going to the Cosmo this trip, especially now that I heard about the $100 free play deal. ;)

Have you not walked in that Crystals Mall? That smell knocks you out when you open the door!!!

Nope, not yet. I probably won't now that you told me about it. I have severe allergies. The cigarette smoke in Vegas is enough to make me cough and hack for days afterwards. :(

The smell of the Circus Circus garage elevators made me forget the Cosmo and Aria smell.

The smells pumped into the Casino Royal and Harrahs Las Vegas were down right nasty. Wait a second that was the bathrooms and the smells were pumped out. Carry on!

MGM's smell is killer. Especially on my last trip in November when you walked in from the bridge entrance from NYNY, it could have knocked you on your ass. But lots of properties do it, the only properties that don't that I noticed were all CET properties.

Mandalay Bay's is by far the most distinctive to me, but I also love it. Reminds me singularly of Vegas.

Aria definitely has its own scent but I didn't notice any difference when I was there over Thanksgiving.

Aria is my favorite smelling casino I was even gonna buy some scent sticks they were selling but the price was outrageous.

Mandalay Bay has a very coconut-ty smell. It's great for like, the first 2 minutes. Then it's nauseating. Harrah's downright stinks, though!

I always have a mini sinus infection/issue the first day or so of Vegas. Think it's the flight, but maybe it's the casino scents/oxygen.

Excalibur is the worst, it doesn't even need questioning. It lingers on the hair and clothes

Walking into Aria and smelling the vanilla aroma always puts a huge smile on my face. It's says: "welcome back, we've missed you!"

This might sound weird, but the air freshener we have in our bathrooms where I work is the EXACT same scent that they use in The Mirage's casino. Every time I walk into the bathroom, it's like, "whoa! Vegas!"

I describe MGM's scent as "Baby Prostitute".
