The Return of O'Sheas: As promised, a version of O’Sheas will be returning to the Strip Dec. 27, when a tribute to the former popular casino/drinking hole opens inside its former neighbor, once Imperial Palace and now The Quad. The 5,000-square-foot casino-within-a-casino will feature 11 table games, 15 video poker machines, three bars, and six beer pong tables. Yep, that sounds like the O'Sheas we all knew and loved.

On another note, CET is breaking the mold as the first major casino corporation to launch its own gentlemen's club, with word that the Purple Zebra will also soon be opening inside the Flamingo. Oh no, wait, we just actually read the press release and it turns out that the Purple Zebra isn't a distant cousin of the Spearmint Rhino; it's a "whimsical candy and slush bar." Oh well, you can't win 'em all and we're guessing that all you whimsical-candy fans must be pretty stoked right now.

I don't drink alcohol, i don't gamble on table games, the food court is gone, i don't play VP, i don't play beer pong, but yet..............O'Shea's will be one of the first places i hit when i go in the Spring.
Perhaps i'll try a little VP, but with only 15 machines, i may have to wait..........a long wait.

The O'Sheas Leprechaun was on hand to usher in a new era for the restored landmark, which will continue to offer drink specials, beer pong and cheap table limits (though stay away from the 6/5 BJ tables caught on camera before the start of the piece).

It looks so clean and new and... not like O'sheas.... oh well maybe it will have a little of its grimy charm when I check it out in April.

The lack of stank and burger king make this version of O' Sheas a no-go for me.

I thought CET already had their version of the gentlemens club, except it is a ladies club with the sauagefest that is Chippendales and their Flirt bar at the Rio.
