This might sound silly to some but I thought I would share it anyway. I seem to have made it a habit when I go to Vegas I always without fail start out winning, only to lose it back before I leave the table. The last time I was there on the last day I tried something different. Whatever I game I played I would stop at a 25 dollar profit. I mean like sometimes I would win 25.00 in one spin of the marble or one roll of the dice and would move on to another table or game for that matter. It was actually quite fun just moving around so much getting to feel like a winner every time I left a table. The best part was at the end of the day I was up 1600.00 bucks!!

I've never thought of doing that. I think I might try something similar next trip, but will up it at $50.

Some of those hits had to be better than $25. Because I struggle to believe you did this a minimum of 64 times in one day.

And at $25, that would have to be 64 consecutive wins in a row. That many wins in a row, could even get the attention from security; wondering what's going on and why your always on the move.

Yeah, I def left that complication out. At least it has to be 64 net wins if he also put $25 at risk. I assume the only way this could be true is that at least once he nailed some roulette number for $875 or snake eyes at craps, etc.

Agreed. Unless any wins were big, this is basically flat betting and every loss negates a win. It would take an incredible winning streak to end up way ahead. This would keep you from loosing your shirt but won't make you rich either.

One possible way he could do it would be on splits, doubles and blackjacks. Then continuing play with the "overage".

But it's more likely that he went on a few mini-heaters because he varied from his "leave after up $25" strategy.

I've used this kind of strategy as well, and with some success, however, mine was set at $90 (after observing that chasing that last $10 win was the cause of my losing for many of these attempts!) My buddy & I call this playing a "bump 'n run". Up $90? Move to another table or casino. Even then, there were plenty of times when I'd be up $105 or $110. When they'd happen, I'd mentally "protect" my $90 win, and continue playing with the 'overage'. So, there were several times that my table wins exceeded $300, even though $90 was the initial bump 'n run departure-point.

LOL.... Let me clarify, I did not 64 times in a row. I should have said I would leave after I made at LEAST 25.00 profit. Sometimes I left with the table or machine with more due to a bigger win. I did hit a yo 11 for 5 bucks. Also had a good hit a couple of times on VP. If I were going to make up a story I could do alot better than that!!!!!

Strategies like this will help you lose less, because you are spending less time playing and more time cashing out, moving from casino to casino, etc. Of course you're still going to lose in the long run, but less money wagered = less money lost.

Did you bother using your players card? Seems hard to get rated for 10 minutes of tale game play

Feel like I would end up tipping more in this scenario, since I would be coloring up ahead at the table more often.

It is so sporadic can't really do any method.
I have been knocked down from the start of the trip. Another time at the end and another time the entire time.
