I gutted the Rivers today at lunch for $1,500 in about 10 minutes.

    I placed 10 bets.

The first 5 were on 3 card poker, all 5 bets won. The funny thing was the first hand I got a flush (1 card off from straight flush), but had accidently made my large bet on the Ante instead of the pairs plus as intended. Since I was able to double it on the Play it worked out almost as well, only cost me $15, but had that been a straight flush I would have gone APE SHIT!

The missing "bonus bet" thru me off I guess.

Anyway, I won all 5 hands with straight, a flush, and 3 pairs, raising my bets each time. Twice my pair of aces beat dealers queens.

I got up and headed to Roulette where the dude spun me the first 5 spins: 29, 22, 28, 2, and 32. The wins were $600, $175, $525, $525, and $700.

I got out with a $1,500 profit. Left the casino and went to watch "Last Vegas".

It was probably my tastiest and lowest calorie lunch of the year!

Extrapolating that, a tidy $18,720,000 annual salary. Maybe not NateDogg, but pretty respectable! Nice run.

Reminds me of the "lunches" I used to have before land based casinos arrived. We would leave the office and head over to Hollywood Casino in Aurora or Sometimes Grand Victoria in Elgin. We would jump on the boat when it opened at 11:30am and gamble hard for 20 minutes and then get off before they sailed at Noon. Great way to spend lunch.

well of course I stopped by again today and blew a few hundo into the 3card poker and roulette before hitting quad 2's and getting out with $100 profit. anyway the interesting thing happened at the roulette table.

I saw a guy make about $10,000 in 8 spins. He was betting heavily on maybe 6-8 numbers and his biggest number was #29, which hit 4 times in the 8 spins. He had a STACK of nickels on there and appeared to be betting $75-$100 on that particular number, $50ish on the others. His payout would be like $500 in red nickels with 5 ($500) purples atop. He also hit #13..."not his normal number but the dude beside him recommended it for that spin since its Friday the 13th" and a large #15 which was "an accidental bet" meant for #13 apparantly.

a few times the ball hopped out of my number into his, or dropped directly into his with no hop. I did have a smaller bet on #29 as always so that was a break even type result for me.

Anyway it was pretty cool to see even if I didn't win on that table.

Luckily they won't get a chance to get this money back as kids are now off for winter break, and then I'll be more or less out of town until April.

    See ya suckas!!! :Þ:wave:

Nice win. I would look to buy 12 Red Lobsters from Darden Corp. with all that winnings. Then you could interview applicants for hostess positions in your own personal way. ( hint, hint )

honestly really enjoyed the movie with all the Aria coverage.

It was actually a pretty realistic presentation of the issues I expect to experience in my old age. LIke I told my wife after the third kid "I can't get that veascetomy, Catherine Zeta Jones will be very upset!"

epic off the books trip coming up by the way.....truly epic....can't be a trip report its gonna be that kinda trip. :wink2::evillaugh:wink2:
