Thanks in advance for your replys

Currently I'm diamond at CET and have been for the last 3 years. Between my local casino and Vegas I average 10-15 gambling days per year. Average earning right below 1,000 tier per day, split 50/50 between video poker and $50 a hand blackjack.

Frankly I'm getting tired of the rooms at CET properties in Vegas and was hoping someone on here could give me an idea of what I could expect from M Life, Venetian, Wynn and any other non CET places (including off strip and downtown). I'm open to pretty much anywhere and am really just curious as to what my level of play is worth in comps somewhere else.

    Thanks again

first off you wount be able to book 5 nites straight without a host like you can at cet by using there rate calander. Almost every other property you will need a host .

Mlife 3 days max and at your level probaly top tier might be monte carloe or maybe lower like luxor.

Im notsure what your looking for , my suggesting is take a cet trip and take on of those days and go to a mlife or veneation and gamble and see if you can get any offers.

I know 50$ at v/p is real low.

50$ a hand could probaly work at the lower end mlife properties
notsure about ti and wont work at the wynn ,you will get discounted rooms but not comped probaly around 129$ a nite.

rember as a diamond you dont pay resort fees you will at mlife most likely so what are you looking for free rooms ,food

How many hours day do you play whats your budget

Its just a guess considering the limited info you have provided, but you are probably looking at $50 a day in comps, at most, from mlife properties. that's enough to get you casino rate and maybe some free rooms at Excalibur or Luxor.

    Thanks for the help guys:beer:

More details on my play. Usually budget $1,500 a day in Vegas and play around 4 hours per day @50 a hand at the tables. Additionally I spend a fair amount of time playing video poker. Like I said over 7 Vegas trips in the last 3 years I've been pretty consistently averaging 1,000 tier a day with CET which tends to get me modest freeplay offers ($100) and comped rooms at all the Vegas CET props almost everyday (Caesers usually weekdays only).

I kind of figured that Wynn & V/P were going to be out of my range. Also I think PH and Paris are probably a better fit for me than the lower end M Life properties.

If you have anymore info on Hard Rock that would be great. Stayed there once years ago before I discovered gambling and from what I remember it was fairly nice.

    Thanks again for the help

At that level of BJ play, my earlier estimates of your comps at MGM are going to be even less. Not sure how much the VP adds, but based on the BJ play, you can expect a room discount (maybe a free room during off months or mid-week) and a few bucks in EC to cover food and other expenses

at mlife probaly luxor and excalibur you might get lucky and mb if there trying to wo you. but you will have give them the 4 hours of bj fiest to see if you get any offers.

i think hardrock or palms you can problaly get a room comped but you will have to play first to give them some interest in you unless you cold call a host and see if they will do anything for you

i think cet is the best at your level you will get all the free rooms you want and they have tons of properties and the linq is about to open so should help

I have stayed at the Hard Rock a few times. My play is somewhat less than yours but I have received some very good offers, with multiple fee nights or severely discounted rooms. I like the rooms (much better than you might think), restaurant, and the vibe. In general I think the property is underrated. I recommend giving them some play on your next trip. You will have a much better shot at getting good offers from a day of play than at mLife. I think you will be happy with the offers and rooms.

That said, I have really enjoyed some of the mLife properties, especially Mandalay Bay and Aria. I also play blackjack at $25-$100 per hand, and the blackjack rules at the MGM properties cannot be beat. I do not think you can find BJ tables with S17, DAS, and Surrender at the HRH at $25 on the main floor. I do not know anything about their slots or Video Poker.

That's exactly why I drifted to the mLife properties. I primarily play blackjack and craps (with a little poker thrown im) so I really appreciate the good BJ rules. I would seriously consider HRH more often if they had better BJ rules.

The "problem" is you're a 'tweener player. By that I mean you'll get better offers at Total Rewards casinos, but you're on the cusp of being a candidate for MLife. My blackjack average is close to yours and I get free rooms at Luxor and Excalibur with deep discounts only for the other properties. I also get some food comped regularly by MLife (not all, but a few buffets).

The BIGGER issue here IMHO is why are you held "hostage" to CET's terrible blackjack just for the free rooms? It will only take their rule against re-splitting aces....s17/h17....and not being able to double after splitting to bite you once or twice a trip before the "free" rooms become not worth it. http://wizardofvegas.com/guides/blackjack-survey/

Your video poker play is the wild card here. I have no idea what MLife is looking for as I'm strictly a blackjack player.

    Good luck!!!

At $50/hand blackjack, you will be treated very nicely anywhere downtown. You will enjoy comped rooms, meals & even have easy access to the 'high-limit' salons at Golden Gate & 'theD'...important, as most two-deck BJ downtown do not permit DAS - but those high-limit salons do.

As far as V/P goes, many people recently have posted on these forums that they are getting comped room offers without much play. I suggest stopping by and playing a bit to see if they send some your way. On my last trip I played some at MB, $300 Pai Gow and $100 BJ for about 4 or 5 hours but checking Mlife just has casino rates for rooms. I get emails offers for shows but doesn't mention anything about room rates. It says to call VIP services but not sure if that's actual VIP services or the normal mlife pone line where everybody is a VIP.

I've never bet $50/hand in my life in Vegas, and I get three free nights and $150 in freeplay from NYNY. Two comped nights at any hotel other than Aria/Bellagio.

People make MLife seem harsher than it really is on these boards.

My entire budget for a 3 day trip at MGM properties is typically around $1,500. I play slots, VP, and BJ ($15-$25 per hand). I have no issues getting 3 nights comped at Monte Carlo and lower properties (Excal, Luxor, NYNY). I typically get 2-3 nights comped at MGM and Mandalay buy only Sun-Thurs and then casino rate (typically $60-$100 per night depending on place). After a slightly higher than average gambling trip in August, I am now getting 1 night comped at Aria/Bellagio with others at casino rates. With those offers is usually $75 in FreePlay and 2-1 tickets. For the first time, I'm now getting $100 FP and $75 resort credit after my above average last trip.

Take it for what its worth.

I typically earn 25,000-30,000 tier credits per trip (from gambling only, not $$ spent at MGM properties). Last trip I earned around 40,000 tier credits. Again, my gambling budget is usually around $1,000 - $1,500 per trip. See my last post about the offers I typically get.

Thanks, my session at MB that I mentioned earned about 15k. V/P has a lot of positives at the properties but some of the MGM properties intrigue me. CET needs a lot of help but is closer but I don't make it down to MGM stuff unless I want to make a specific trip. Seems I can do a bit better on the comp front down there too plus MB serves Lagunitas IPA.

I'd disagree with some of the advice on here, at a 5k-10k coin in player (pending if you mix slots with VP at CET). I think you'll be just fine at MGM properties, and shouldn't have any qualms about contacting a host at a property you want to stay at. They may not be able to get you Bellagio or Aria all the time with free room and meals, but I would expect rooms and some freeplay/food.

TI only requires $15 minimum for rating, so he should be golden. Also, once you start getting offers from TI, they pretty much keep coming. You need a gas mask for that casino though.
