I have never been to any sport bars in Vegas before but I'll be in Vegas next week and there will be two semi-final matches of NCAA volleyball on Thursday 12/19 and final match on 12/21. They will be on ESPN2 so I think I can watch them from the hotel room. However, I think it'll be more fun to watch with friends while having some food/drinks so I would like to ask for suggestions. I know that Volleyball is not a very popular sport so I'm not sure if any sport bars will show these matches. Could you please recommend some? I'm staying at MB but willing to go anywhere on the strip.

What time will the matches air? If it's a time when football or other popular games are airing it might be tough. But if I were I you, I'd try talking to the MB Sportsbook manager a few hours prior to the game and ask if they could put it up on one of the larger screens. If that doesn't work you could always ask the bartender at the MB Sportsbook bar to set some of the 4 smaller TVs at the bar to the vb match, We have always found the staff and management at MB Sportsbook to be very approachable.
And of course, be nice and generously tip your bartender or cocktail waitress.

Thanks, Kelly. On Thursday Dec 19, the first match will start at 4.30pm and the second match will start at 7pm (Vegas time). I plan to go to some early shows that night so I'm only interested in 4.30pm match. Any chance?

I play and watch volleyball as well. The sports books are kind of hard to vary from the major games. Sports bars and lounges that have tvs might be a better bet. DB's at Planet Hollywood might work with you since they have tons of tv's.

There aren't any NFL games that day, so I'd try asking the MB sportsbook manager.

Or if you guys want to watch in a nice restaurant bar, the rm Seafood bar (located on the casino level in the MB Place shops, about 20-30 steps from the MB sportsbook ) has several tvs and yummy appetizers.
